Hi Paul, when you said “ I’m not only a member, I’m a fan of the music we wrote”… I truly believe this is one of the most important reasons why KISS has been so successful.
My sister is 10, she has cerebral palsy and barely talks however whenever she hears kiss, or sees Paul she screams 😍she absolutely loves kiss she hums and Blubbers all of kisses songs and always wants us to put on kiss for her !🥺🤍 she absolutely loves you and Was excited to see this video.
Vanessa Carrillo wouldn’t it be great if you could write Paul Stanley a letter and he could come see your sister! That would be great! Come on, do it Vanessa!
Paul is underrated as a guitar player in a similar way that McCartneys bass can be overlooked. Stanley’s chord inversions and right hand groove are unparalleled. Not to mention HE WROTE AND SANG THE BEST KISS SONGS by miles. Total respect for this guy.
People throw around the word underrated too much. What makes Paul Stanley underrated exactly? He's a good guitar player who plays well. What's there to underrate? He does what he should and he can play guitar.
@@holdingtonfarley4444 he's maybe not really underrated. But most people said Paul suck at guitar and he don't deserve a title "guitar legend. " and yeah..he actually guitar legend.
@@holdingtonfarley4444 Because people typically are in awe of the lead guitarist more so than the rhythm. Most guitarists look up more to Ace Frehley than Paul Stanley, and despite what the 70s KISS purists might say, guitarists Vinnie Vincent, Mark St. John, and Bruce Kulick were honestly even better than Ace ever was. But I’ve always had great respect for Gene and Paul as songwriters. Even if they’re not the most technical virtuosic musicians, they’ve consistently made amazing music over what, half a century now. Never met a KISS album I didn’t like.
It is years later and I am still watching these videos. Thank you Paul and thank you to all of the medical teams, remote teachers, first responders, and the man that picks up my garbage. Some lead guitarist are not as good as Paul. I was telling my husband about his playing. He said that sometimes the rhythm has to be better because he helps to hold the bass and drum line together and build something for the lead to follow.
They are lip syncing on the last tour, did you know that. They probably arent even really playing their instruments anymore either, it's all digital , in other words click tracking, that truly sucks you know
What’s cool is Paul’s stripped down, just him playing his guitar part that he plays in the band - gives you insight into his influences which are the reasons we all started playing. All the best to you and your family Paul. Stay safe!!

@PaulStanley-dg7hk I have been to several of your shows and I can say that I was blown away every time! What a show! Nobody puts on a concert like you do...worth every penny and the long drive to get there! I hope that you continue to rock the house for as long as you desire. Your vocals are the best in the world and your guitar playing is outstanding and creative! I am wheelchair bound as I have stage 4 cancer. I try to keep my chin up but it’s really hard, do you have any advice for me? Is there an email for you? It would be really great to chat. I know you’re super busy but I’m hoping...thanks Paul!
I’m speechless. Incredible that he made time to hang out with us. He is not just a musician whose music I enjoy, but a human being I want to learn from. I’m really proud of being KISS fan.
Thank you Mr. Paul "The Starchild" Stanley as well as the other members of Kiss (both past and present) for giving us great musical memories to last us lifetime! Extra special thanks to you Paul for playing "Hotter Than Hell" in most of its entirety. Been trying to figure out that song for a good minute! That album of the same name was my first introduction to KISS as a kid in 1st Grade circa 1976. Hope you had a Merry Christmas 🎅🤶🎄, Happy Hanukkah🕎 and hope you & family have a blessed & happy New Year 2024! ROCK ON! Enjoy your time off in retirement. Give those Avatars some attitude too! Hope to hear your Soul Station stuff too!
lmfao Paul's voice has been a lost cause for some time now. 1) The miracles of Autotune have proven to be useless. 2) They've tried banks and banks of the best Pro-Tool plug-ins that Gene's money can buy, but to no avail. 3) Not even the best throat surgeon in Beverly Hills has been able to help the poor schmuck formerly known as Stanley Bert Eisen get his voice back. That's why he soldiers on today having to mime to old recordings from the Casablanca days. The man who once claimed he put the X in Sex (I think he was singing about Gene), is now an octogenarian who has to pop handfuls of Viagra before he can sprout an inch of wood. Bless his little heart!
Thanks Paul for sharing, great training for ive been a fan for over 50 years.. i saw you all first concert in 1979 in Toledo ,OHIO ,The rockets from Detroit opened up for Kiss
I absolutely love what you are doing Paul you are truly an amazing songwriter and person. I have been a fan of Kiss since I was ten years old. God bless you Paul😎
Nobody is perfect but Paul does it straight from the heart. Like a Boss, one of a kind. A Shout It Out Loud RESPECT to all the heros at the frontline fighting against Corona, for us and themselves. I believe Paul is a hero too!
What a great time to have - a karaoke time with Paul Stanley himself playing for us to sing. Time to know how great fans we are If we are able to sing along as he plays. Thank-iss a lot, Paul.
g m what a stupid assed comment. I’m sure he has lip synced before if he was sick or had lost his voice after performing every night for six months but this guy can outperform ANY rock band lead singer that’s been playing a long as he has.

He's mostly Riff based, while Ace does both Riff and solos, so they both play the Riff at the same time. Then Ace does the solo. But Paul Stanley is Amazing as a guitarist and so is his riffs, and let's not forget he's also thee Lead Singer of KISS.

@@garcemac I don't think so, but Paul is a huge Soul fan , what with his solo tour singing soul classics, I'm sure Paul and Daryl could play a classic.
I can still remember the 1st time I saw the album cover for ALIVE. I hadn't heard of the band, all the radio would play in those days was the pop music. Once I heard the opening riff of Deuce, I've been an addict ever since! Paul & Ace inspired me to pick up the guitar. I would lock myself in my room & play for hours. Trying to learn every song note for note (and remember the tuning). I caught all kinds of SH*T from parents who just didn't get it & peers who couldn't admit KISS could actually play. Those very same people, went to see KISS with me in my hometown of Manassas, Va. in Bristow! I've never been shy or denied! KISS has always gotten me through it!

This what it must be like to just sit and chill with the Starchild. Could you Imagine being there in that room riffing and brainstorming for songs to put on an album? Damn This is awesome.
Back in April of 2000, I was in 8th grade. Our teacher said our class had to break into groups, and each group had to pretend to be a band between 1960-1975. We were to dress as them and play air guitar, air drums, etc for "Woodstock" in front of the whole school. I wanted to be the Beatles because I had never heard any other music from that era. A kid in my group was adamant that we be KISS, which I was originally against. I finally agreed to sample their music, took his KISS CD home, played Rock And Roll All Nite for the first time in my boom box, and FELL IN LOVE!! I've now been a die hard KISS fan for 20 years! Can't wait to see them AGAIN this September in Illinois!
Matthew S that’s a great teacher right there. My classmates would hate everything about it because they hate on my music and say it’s “trash” and “gay”. Lol I would like to see what they think is better than The Stones

"You're in the band!" Damn great to listen that from the one and only Paul Stanley!
Here we have the raw power of a true musician showing us that music is made by people to address people. is not about the money is not about fame, is about a distorted les paul and how good old rock 'n' roll gather people together. Thaks Paul for sharing in this troubled times.
Wow! That's quite a production!

Paul always was a great inspiration for me ..
Thats also one great looking les paul
This is such a wonderful gesture in these uncertain times. You don’t have to do this Paul, but you’re doing it to help get us through. Much respect Paul. Keep it up!!

Hotter Than Hell is such a FANTASTIC riff ! Rock & Roll !

This is actually perfect! Great songs, that mean the world to us fans, played with love by Paul. I could listen to the story behind every song and never get tired. Keep it up Paul. For every complaint you hear, there are thousands of us listening with a smile on our faces.

I have been to several of your shows and I can say that I was blown away every time!
I try to play my Stratocaster when I am able but not much any more, I still do try though. This video was a bright spot in my day and I thank you for that. Do you have any advice for someone like me? I try to keep my chin up but it’s really hard, do you have any advice for me? Is there an email for you? It would be really great to chat. I know you’re super busy but I’m hoping...thanks Paul!
This is so awesome seeing how these are correctly played. This was close in most cases
but this just awesome. Thanks Paul
Still one of the greatest voices in music! A great inspiration for teen me, all those years ago
lmfao Paul's voice has been a lost cause for some time now.

Never cared for KISS, but I just became a Paul Stanley fan. Really decent, goodhearted man. (Okay, okay - I liked the first ALIVE.)
Very underrated guitarist. Writing riffs is the core to great rock music!⭐️🤘👌💯
Super generous of Paul to do this , I sang along with every song. Paul rules. Super cool and a lot of fun. Thanks a mill.
Nobody is perfect but Paul does it straight from the heart. Like a Boss, one of a kind. A Shout It Out Loud RESPECT to all the heros at the frontline fighting against Corona, for us and themselves. I believe Paul is a hero too!
the king of the nightime world
Perfect to me his les paul magic in his hands
What a great time to have - a karaoke time with Paul Stanley himself playing for us to sing. Time to know how great fans we are If we are able to sing along as he plays. Thank-iss a lot, Paul.
I am 55 years old now and i can still feel the excitement the first time i heard Detroit Rock City! I just want to say, thank you!!!
They are all lip synching now, it's not a concert, just a stereo cranked to the max, they probably arent even really playing
g m what a stupid assed comment.
I’m sure he has lip synced before if he was sick or had lost his voice after performing every night for six months but this guy can outperform ANY rock band lead singer that’s been playing a long as he has.

Paul has always been the guy that holds KISS together.
so wheres ACE and PETER?
@@belfastbusfan ???
@@tango1706 you said Paul holds kiss together, but KISS for me and most fans was PAUL STANLEY, GENE SIMMONS, ACE FREHLEY and PETER CRISS
@@belfastbusfan my point was after Ace & Peter were gone and when Gene was playing movie star, Paul was writing KISS songs and making sure KISS didn't die.
Ace is my favorite. I'm not taking anything away from the rest of the band but Paul always had their longevity at heart.

"I'm Bored" - Good, write a new Kiss record!!!! Love you, my hero. Stay safe.
This is the best suggestion. Use the time for a new albums, the other albums from the current lineup are great!
I'm pleased to see Mr. Stanley having fun. His smile. No matter how he is and how long he's been doing it, he still enjoys it!!
KISS rocked the rolling stone flatbed truck fancy flout! 🎸

A True Riff Master!! His Talent would overflow The Atlantic Ocean.
That Hotter Than Hell riff might be my favorite KISS riff ever
Thank you Paul for doing this..Just like everyone else probably says Kiss was one of my favorite bands and I use to worship Paul's voice..From stutter to I still love you to tears are falling Paul's voice carryed me through times in my life where I had nothing except Music..Thank you Paul even though we don't know each other..God Bless
Never realized how much his style of rhythm guitar playing made the kiss sound. 🤘🏼🔥
Right? So many times I couldn't help but think "That must be Ace." But most of the time it was Paul. PAUL!!

Paul's looking good at 68. Makes me wanna take care of myself!

those were the days bruh
That was BIG then
do you think Kiss would of got away with it if there was internet? there was nothing without there make up that was a hella trick that's for sure.
Yep, there'd be photos, "Is this the side of Paul Stanley's face?". That would be worth a 4 page spread!!!
This is turning into my therapy, a moment of calm during this hell we are experiencing. Thank you Paul!
I love all those songs.
This what it must be like to just sit and chill with the Starchild. Could you Imagine being there in that room riffing and brainstorming for songs to put on an album? Damn This is awesome.
1:09 - "is it perfect? Hell no" But that's what makes it perfect - Paul's honesty.
I started listening to Kiss in 1975 at the age of 5. Been my favorite band since then and even now at the age of 50. Thank you Paul for all the music you have created over the years. I still listen to Kiss music every couple of days. Love cutting the lawn and listening to my Kiss music.
