The beaches really Good Like at unawathuna.
I recently travelled London to Colombo on Sri Lanka business class on the A330. The service and crew were fantastic on both flights. Food was great, the lounges were well run and stocked with nice food and drink. If you have not visited Sri Lanka, YOU MUST! Its one of the most beautiful countries in the world, its just stunning and the people are so so lovely and friendly. Also the food on the island is amazing especially the seafood!
And they provided a pick up and drop off limo service to and from my home included in the price which was great as it was winter and I didnt have to carry a heavy coat.
I booked my plane ticket to Sri Lanka (for a holiday in 2018) last week!
You will love it, I have been 5 times. Mountains,national parks and ancient cities in the centre. Stunning beaches, the best in the world to see leopards and blue whales, loads of elephants. Great food and people. Have a fantastic time!

I have visited Ceylon many times. Last time I have visited was in 2011 from Chennai Airport with Jet Airways. I only visited south part of the island. Never visited north of the island. Ceylon is very beautiful island. It has very beautiful nature!
During my child age in 80's travelled many times to Ceylon. At that time it was Air Lanka! Indeed it had excellent service!
You brought tears into my eyes... i have been flying in Srilankan airlines ever since its started and the theme music and the way of hospitality is my blood. But for the recent few years i could not get along with srilankan airlines since iam flying for business purposes mostly my flights are either Qatar airways or any other for the time since iam working in qatar! But trust me i felt like i flew for 30 mins with your video itself. Amazing documentary and entertainment. Keep up the good work! Appreciate the fact that u showed how good srilankan airlines and the status of the airline. Thanks very much❤️

I hope that SriLankan will soon re-launch its direct Colombo-Frankfurt route
hope so I always fly kuala lumpur Frankfurt in business return but from kl to Colombo is a smaller plane.they fly now via Doha is not the same. so I fly with Vietnam airlines from kl to Frankfurt is ok

Visit the town of Kandy. Elephant orphanage near by. The town of Ella in central Sri Lanka has amazing hikes and spectacular topography. Many wonderful resorts. So much to do all throughout country. If you don't want to deal with the traffic. Use Cinnamon Air. Quick cheap flights. They use float planes so they can get you right there. HEED the signs for CROCS in the rivers!!! Wonderful people. Beautiful temples. And for the best spicy authentic Sri Lankan food. Visit Rajitha's granny's house! Ha! Enjoy your trip!!

Thank you for this lovely Business Class video on Sri Lankan airlines. There is not much content on Sri Lankan Airlines on RUclips. The carrier has so much potential and I believe that the fares are relatively cheap for the service it provides. Loved the small annotations at the bottom as well. Hopefully, videos like this will really help display the quality of the airline to other travellers given that Sri Lankan is not very famous.
Truly hope that I can join Sri Lankan as soon as I am done with my studies and training. Really looking forward to contributing to the airline.

Great video! I flew with SriLankan Airlines A330-300 business class last year and I was impressed how good the food, FA and seat were! :D
I strongly disagree that there should be a dresscode in business class! I always travel for leisure, I pay business class for comfort, not luxury.

i flew Sri Lankan some years ago to Bangkok via Colombo , but in Economy, not Business Class. In my opinion at that time they had the best Economy product. Fantastic service and very good food for Economy. I like your Vlogs and Blogs. Keep on with that good work.

Both of us travelled by Airbus 330 with the Sri Lankan Airlines from Madras to Colombo and back, in February AD 2018. It was a pleasant experience. The aircraft was wider and the crew members were cordial. The flights were smooth. We love to travel more with this nice global airline!

It's a srilankan Lamaa Sari it has a peacock pattern of style because the symbol on the airline is a peacock
We call that outfit as "kandyan" 😊

well I've just come across your channel and love it. Brings back so many memories for me. I started to fly for BA in 1978 as Cabin Crew on long haul. After 2 years was asked to join the Concord fleet, which I did and flew on the aircraft for 7 years before I left BA.

I Travelled Sri LANKA airlines in 2019 and i found that the meals were tasty and very good service .The seats were a little uncomfortable for a nine and half hour journey to colombo .I would consider flying Sl again on my next trip there and return to melbourne australia as there are no stop overs on route.BEST WISHES TO ALL THE FLIGHT CREW.

I flew from CMB to MLE on the A330-300 and it was comfortable compared to their other airlines' business classes, which fly to East Asia. This carrier is mostly used for longer hauls like Heathrow or Narita.

HOW TO DRIVE A ENGINES
I recall UL used to be one of the first airlines with the tail camera, I assume due to the partnership with emirates. They offer a great product, hoping they can be profitable again. Excellent vid

when you travel to sri lanka, you should really visit Galle, its a beatiful city. but moast important DON'T DRIVE BY YOUR OWN! the traffic in sri Lanka is a nightmare

having said that, i would like to ask if you do anything to compensate the effect of your travels on the environment? If not, i would like to recommend the company "atmosfair" which calculates how much you have to donate to climate projects to compensate the co2 emitted by flights, hotels stays etc.
It costs less than you would probably imagine and you would be a great role model for the +75000 people that are clearly influenced by your blog.
I will need a couple of years to save enough money for those trips and it i don´t want the maldives to be disappeared before...
