Thank you so much, Lori, for your kind comment. I prefer not to talk through my clips. I want my channel to be about the travel experience itself, not about me :)
Just wanna tell you that watching your flight videos is like a therapy to me! It's so soothing to watch. Your editing and choice of music is perfect! Never been on flight before but your videos make me feel like I am inside the plane. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to more definitely~
Excellent video as always -- your channel deserves subscribers in millions. Great attention to details and perfect storytelling/ editing. Keep up the good work, Sir.
in my opinion its not that important if you fly an a350 or a b787 but much more important how the cabin is designed by the carrier. for example flying J without direct excess to the aisle is an absolute no-go. or like paying for business while receiving not much more space than economy when flying with BA.
hehe "SIA won't make any profit on this flight".... Unless SIA has a need to reposition the plane back to Singapore anyway, not only is there no profit, this flight is costing them BIG TIME.... Back in 1971, I flew one of Delta's then-new 747s from Dallas to Los Angeles. It was Delta's Atlanta-Dallas-LA "redeye".. There were 20 passengers on the flight.. along with 10 cabin crew... Didn't know if it was a reposition flight or not.. Flight attendant said everybody was now in first class and drinks were on the house... I kinda sloshed off the plane in LA...
I was once on an Air France 747-100 (she was already so old, even at that time, that she still had the ancient white and blue livery without the stylized French flag, at a time when AF already used the newer one in nearly all its fleet), on a fifth-freedom flight from Buenos Aires to Rio de Janeiro, at the time when European carriers' flights to South America had lots of stops. The flight originated in Santiago, but it was late and arrived at EZE from CDG at the time it should be arriving back from SCL. So, they joined the flights, scrapped the return stop at EZE, boarded the return flight's passengers, and we had an unexpected detour to Chile on the way from Argentina to Brazil. We flew EZE-SCL-VCP-GIG, from where the flight would continue to Dakar and Paris. It was the best flight I ever had! I was on economy and they didn't upgrade us, but there were only some 20 or 30 passengers on a 747, at a time when economy class seats were still spacious and comfy, and even Y food and drink were better than in many of today's business classes (especially on Air France, which offered spectacular French cuisine and wines even on Y at that time). I loved the unplanned stop in Chile because it gave me more time to enjoy that flight. I could easily have continued all way to Paris.
Wow must have been an amazing experience! However, although I am not such an expert, I believe that a reposition flight is a non-scheduled flight (and hence) without passengers. You were most probably on a scheduled flight. Still, although this particular flight was definitely not profitable, it still might have made sense from the overall capacity planning perspective in order to make the route efficient as a whole.
I'd say and interesting one for me is Turkish Airlines lounge in Istanbul. When you put cooking stations with lots of local food options it gives you an impression that you are exploring the place you just landed on
The bulkhead business seats are the best. Just flew with SQ last week in 11K LAX-NRT-LAX and it definitely made the flight more enjoyable. The seat is so wide that you really don't need to sleep at angle unless you sleep flat on your back. Love your videos! And safe travels!!
Thank you so much! Yes, indeed the bulkhead seats in row 11 and 19 (especially the ones in the center) are the best seats on the plane, and are considerably more comfortable than all the other seats. Safe travels to you as well!
Very nice TR. Clear, concise, nice descriptions and carefully selected views of aircraft, cabin and outside environment. Great effort overall and thanks for sharing.
!WoW! Your impressive review has filled me with loads of high expectations when I fly SIA's A350-900 Business from Dusseldorf (DUS) to Singapore in mid-October 2018. My seat will be 12A on the return flight as well. ... Can't wait to enjoy the reknown SQ service, meals and IFE onboard.
Mahalo - Hawaiian for thank you - for showing the flight path. If you don't have little ones in your family, donate the "amenity toys" to a school. There's always children in need. I enjoyed this video.
My favourite airline lounge has got to be the Al Safwa lounge at Hamad Intl Airport in Doha. It looks and feels extremely sleek and modern and almost always empty. Close second would be a tie between the First Class lounge for Emirates in Dubai and the First Class lounge for Singapore Airlines at Changi Airport.
I've never been in Asia, but the Qatar lounge at Hamad is indeed the favorite of many. Yet I've also seen many rave reviews of the Turkish Airlines lounges at Istanbul-Atatürk. Anyway, I don't think anyone would complain about spending some time in any of those first-tier lounges.
My favorite lounge is the Alaska Lounge at SeaTac airport, N concourse (their flagship). Great food, varieties of seating and the best place to watch the runway action.
Not sure if you're aware of it, but Singapore Airlines have a "book the cook" feature, that allows you to pick out a custom menu when you select your seat and what not during booking.
Wow nicely done video. That business class has a lot of first class amenities. I got a laugh on the amenity kit request. Good job and keep them coming.
This product by Singapore Airlines is just amazing! The service looks so professional! I would love to fly with them in the near future! Great flight report and thumbs up!
Thank you! Always nice to read your comment here. You need to give SQ a try one day. Would be exciting to watch your trip report about their onboard product!
Great vid as always. Not the answer to your question but my all time favorite is neither of the aircraft but 777. I love the design, the engine and its presence.
It's nearly 40 years since first flew with Singapore Airlines and they have never disappointed. One comment for you and other videographers of similar themes; show the front row of Business and First class. I recently flew Business Class with another airline who shall remain nameless and was horrified by the front row seating. Now I understand it depends on many factors; aircraft manufacture, airline, and cabin configuration to name a few; but my expectation is that all seats in a designated class come in a standard configuration. Although it appears that SIA appear to have good front row seats; for future videos take a few seconds in your review to show the front row. Good video.
SQ's JCL product is hands down and amazing product. It truly does trump most airlines first class. And to think, SQ is already developing a new Business class product that will debut in October!!
The Screens in Business class are not touch screen because you can't reach the screen! As a frequent Business/First class traveler I know Singapore airlines make up for this with conveniently located tech so as not to be inconvenienced by stretching given there is so much more leg room and space between you and the visual console.
OMG.. I'm glad you have positive reviews on the 350 business class! I did, but on another flight, the economy was the opposite! What a contrast! the 3-3-3 configuration was a horror!
9 abreast in a 350 doesn't seem that bad considering thinner 777 carriers are moving towards 10 abreast and 787 carriers have 9 abreast in what is a small heavy aircraft vs a normal heavy aircraft
I personally prefer the A350 more, it's engine are more quiet and the air is cooler and moist. If I'm in the economy class, I find seats on 350 is also slightly wider than those on 787. In such a confined cabin every millimetre or inch does count. Great trip report :)
Thank you for another enjoyable trip report. Business class looks quite lavish, but I don't think much of the diagonal arrangements for one's feet while sleeping. I recently had the opportunity to fly the red eye on Premium Economy on SIA from Singapore to Brisbane, as a treat for my upcoming 70th Birthday, but it is now on my wish list to fly Business. One day.
Thanks for the fascinating review! Singapore Airlines is always on top! Personally, my opinion, they are the best and an order of magnitude higher than the Emirates! Sumptuously!
Awesome Review as always! I myself will be flying out of Düsseldorf to fly to Munich where I will fly the Lufthansa A350 to Boston. So excited to fly the A350 for the first time! This helped me get a sense of DUS as I have never flown out of there. Thank you for all you do! Greetings from Belgium!
The best lounge for me was "Velazquez Lounge", located in Madrid at T4S, I was going to fly to Tokyo-Narita in the business class of Iberia (It was an A330-200), the lounge was beautiful and the food incredible, I want to go back!!!
Thank you, 'Rahul', for being a follower since the start. It was never my intention to become 'popular' on RUclips, I just wanted to make clips as an illustration for my articles on my blog. It's quite amazing indeed that my audience is growing (fast) to almost 100,000!
What a wonderful Businnes Class! Really beautiful. And Düsseldorf is one of the best Airports. Not too full and very professional. Just the Lounges in Munich and Framkfurt are better. To travel overseas stressless is Düsseldorf a good alternative. It will be in future very expanded airport.
4:57 I honestly don't think I know, in some ways I think that the B787 is better, but probably A350 is also very quite cool, so I will go with that probably. Which Airline is the world's largest operator of A350s? Is it Qatar Airways?
A350 is way better than 787! it has light body and has carbon fiber which reduces drag !!and plus boeing is noisy has hell ur blogs are amazing :) keep uploading!!
Good and informative video on Business Class travel. Thank you. It's refreshing, unlike some idiots who do 'selfie' videos that show nothing except themselves.
Thank you! I try to make my videos about the travel experience itself and not about myself (hence why I am not showing myself). I wish you happy travels!
Yes, I found it weird as well since - to the best of my knowledge - they are the only airline that does not offer amenity kits in Business Class. Not sure what is the rationale of this policy ... Thanks for being a 'fan' :-)
I am surprised that Lufthansa has a Lounge there at all since they pulled out of Düsseldorf and moved their fleet to Munich, it's a prestige thing. Now everybody from all over Europe is flown to Munich, even though the highest population is around Düsseldorf.
Thanks alot for this awesome and detailed review! Honestly, Singapore Airlines is one of most favourite airline. Despite the luxurious and huge impression, I have to acknowledged that the ottoman is abit smaller at the A359 due to the space limit from what I've heard (Compared to 77W's 2013 J). But it must be an enjoyable and awesome experience while flying on SIA. I'm glad you enjoyed your flight with it 😊 Anyway, I'm more into Airbus A350 compared to 787. But honestly, I love the 787 too had the fuselage is wider =P Interesting note : I did board the exact plane (9V-SMB) during my trip as SQ962 last January. Although I was at Economy at that time. I do hope I can try the new J seat
I have an upcoming flight on the A350 that I am looking forward to. The 787 is an awesome aircraft. Agree with other reviews that 777 is also a great aircraft as is the A380 albeit not so economic for airlines to operate. For the passenger experience much comes down to how the airline configures the cabin. I generally fly business class so I really enjoy EVA airlines and United Polaris business class on the 777 300ER aircraft.
Thanks! My favorite video so far of the SIA 350. I'm booked on it in September (IAH-SIN). The only "sticking point" I can see is the sleeping configuration....The flip down seat and the angle cubby hole for the feet seem awkward. Are they necessarily "deal breakers"? The bulkheads weren't availbable when I booked, but I'm thinking they block then release them closer to the flight date, so I'll check back closer to the departure.
Yes, try all you can to be a seated in one of the bulkhead seats (row 11 and 19). The sleeping comfort is much better in one of those seats. Enjoy your travels and safe trip!
Favorite Lounge in the world is at T3 Heathrow Airport Departure and had a GREAT Shower inside that Lounge.....also Changi Airport T3 Lounge has a great shower inside......Beautiful Airport with a Butterflies House inside T 3 Changi and a Swimming Pool on T2 Changi...a Roof Top swimming pool.....
At 40, you can still be a kid at heart... :)
Another great video.
Hello from the USA.
Thx :)
I probably repeat myself but as always, thanks for the full take-off roll in another most excellent trip report!
Really nice footage as always. Love how you present your flights with little chatter. I always enjoy your fl-ogs!
Thank you for your kind comment. I hope you will be able to travel via the skies one day!
Excellent video as always -- your channel deserves subscribers in millions. Great attention to details and perfect storytelling/ editing. Keep up the good work, Sir.

or paying for business and flying a 320 with Qatar
Totally agree but then why do people STILL fly with BA? Numbnuts? I go out my way to avoid BA at all costs.
Yay I'm flying Singapore airlines A350 business class thanks to u cause I could convince my parents. Thank u!
I am just addicted to your vlogs
totally agree
I don't know how can someone dislike a nice video like this!!
This may sound weird but I love to watch your videos before I go to bed.....they help me relax....Thanks
Thank you for the compliment

Very informative and entertaining video, thx a lot. Greetings from Turkmenistan🇹🇲

Brilliant work! Keep it up!
Wow your camera is so steady and you only use your hand amazing!👏 and thank you again for sharing this amazing experience sir 😄

I like watching videos about things I will never ever be able to afford
Seth_Acero I’m going on this plane
Never give up. I also thought I couldn't afford business class until I joined a company which sent me travel trips on business.
It's only 60k miles! That is one credit card sign up offer!
Very nice TR. Clear, concise, nice descriptions and carefully selected views of aircraft, cabin and outside environment. Great effort overall and thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your very encouraging comment!
That looks like the nicest business class product on offer of all the airlines!
Those flight maps for passengers are far, far better than what we have in the cockpit!
Mahalo - Hawaiian for thank you - for showing the flight path. If you don't have little ones in your family, donate the "amenity toys" to a school. There's always children in need. I enjoyed this video.

Krisna Adiyatno I love airport lounges. I wish I had a job that required only traveling
Krisna Adiyatno Or the Emirates in Dubai or Heathrow I love them too a well as the one in Doha.
Krisna Adiyatno Couldn't agree more
Krisna Adiyatno oh i know that,Are you from Indonesia?
I've never been in Asia, but the Qatar lounge at Hamad is indeed the favorite of many. Yet I've also seen many rave reviews of the Turkish Airlines lounges at Istanbul-Atatürk. Anyway, I don't think anyone would complain about spending some time in any of those first-tier lounges.
Very nice business class. Simple, clean, and elegant without being gaudy.
best reviews these reviews show people how rich people travel and i like it
Professional video..food looks great.big changes coming to the business.
My favorite lounge is the Alaska Lounge at SeaTac airport, N concourse (their flagship). Great food, varieties of seating and the best place to watch the runway action.

This product by Singapore Airlines is just amazing! The service looks so professional! I would love to fly with them in the near future! Great flight report and thumbs up!
I love the sound of the GE engines.
They are Rolls Royce as shown in the video
This is still one product on my list to try, one day !. Another great report, looked like an excellent flight.
Thank you! Always nice to read your comment here. You need to give SQ a try one day. Would be exciting to watch your trip report about their onboard product!

Flew on a brand new 787-9 two weeks ago from LGW-MBJ and MBJ-LGWW and I liked it! Never flown on an A350 though
@ 19:36 just amazing, how you spot that flight between those ☁️👌
SQ's JCL product is hands down and amazing product. It truly does trump most airlines first class. And to think, SQ is already developing a new Business class product that will debut in October!!
So educational and informative. I like your style of videos. Thanks for making this vid.
I went to Singapore airlines and it looks really pretty and it was so fun.I love Singapore airlines.
Wow loved it my favourite one is silver kris lounge at changi singapore
The Private Room at Changi airport...and definitely prefer the a350 (that is SQ's rendition of the a350 - both business class and economy are great)
The Screens in Business class are not touch screen because you can't reach the screen! the dessert looked heavenly!!
Thanks for the fascinating review!
Singapore Airlines is always on top! Personally, my opinion, they are the best and an order of magnitude higher than the Emirates!
Sumptuously!
I agree ... if only they handed out amenity kits in Business Class ;)
The lack of amenity kits always bothers me a bit, to be honest...
Which camera do you use to record(In the takeoff)?
I agree...even without amenity kit!! :-)
the most gorgeous B.class I hv ever seen!
Enjoy your trip! I haven't traveled on the Lufthansa A350 so far. Greetings ... from Belgium as well ;)

May I know if you sleep well and comfortably in Diagonally position?
Thanks..
close to reaching 1,00,000 subs, congrats in Advance, been here since 1000

Very cool..I am going on this route Spring next year and was considering doing business class upgrade from DUS to SIN.
I might do just that.
Enjoy your flight and safe trip! There's plenty of award availability on that route.
Fantastic Flight report .. keep it up man thumbs up!
What a wonderful Businnes Class! Really beautiful. And Düsseldorf is one of the best Airports. Not too full and very professional. Just the Lounges in Munich and Framkfurt are better. To travel overseas stressless is Düsseldorf a good alternative. It will be in future very expanded airport.
before I watch...it looks great..i love your flogs😍💚

Love your reviews! Watching this in Manila 😃
Thx! It's very likely that I will visit the Philippines next year. Very high on my bucketlist
My favorite airline lounge is the Turkish Airlines Lounge at Ataturk Airport...duh! Nothing compares. Its the hands down best lounge in the world.
Another excellent review, as always. Thanks for the ride! ;)
What a sparsely furnished and meager buffet!!
I would love to see any thoughts or insights on the accessibility on these airlines.
The meal looked very good. Another great video
Thank you so much for your recurring amazing videos! :)
And in the end I saw you :-) this video is also very appreciated, thank you
I love your videos! Keep them coming 😉
Nice video once again I am addicted to ur channel and it's weird that Singapore Airlines does not provide amenity kits to business class flyers
My best airline lounge is AL Safwa lounge in Doha ...Watching all the way from NAIROBI KENYA
when the man with the camera asks for something, you give him everything
Great video ! Can I ask which app you use for the beginning of your video with the moving earth ?
It's a feature of Imovies
Thanks alot for this awesome and detailed review! Honestly, Singapore Airlines is one of most favourite airline. Despite the luxurious and huge impression, I have to acknowledged that the ottoman is abit smaller at the A359 due to the space limit from what I've heard (Compared to 77W's 2013 J). But it must be an enjoyable and awesome experience while flying on SIA. I'm glad you enjoyed your flight with it 😊
Anyway, I'm more into Airbus A350 compared to 787. But honestly, I love the 787 too had the fuselage is wider =P
Interesting note : I did board the exact plane (9V-SMB) during my trip as SQ962 last January. Although I was at Economy at that time. I do hope I can try the new J seat
Exelent video, we prefer A350 more then 787 and or favo lounge is KLM Crown Lounge on Schiphol.
That's a wonderful lounge indeed
Enjoyed JALs Dreamliner, but can't wait to fly Qatar's A350 business class Mia-Doh coming up soon. Will check back.
loved the review,, so informative .channel will definitely grow,, SIA is a good airline i have to agree
great video as usual
The lounge looks like a business school library/cafeteria. Do better, Düsseldorf!
Do better Lufthansa, Not the Airport.
@@Maxi_Aviation i prefer air france lounge at I think parks
I have an upcoming flight on the A350 that I am looking forward to. The 787 is an awesome aircraft. For the passenger experience much comes down to how the airline configures the cabin. I generally fly business class so I really enjoy EVA airlines and United Polaris business class on the 777 300ER aircraft.
I love your videos you are a perfect host lol
Thanks! My favorite video so far of the SIA 350. I'm booked on it in September (IAH-SIN). The only "sticking point" I can see is the sleeping configuration....The flip down seat and the angle cubby hole for the feet seem awkward. Are they necessarily "deal breakers"? Yes, try all you can to be a seated in one of the bulkhead seats (row 11 and 19). The sleeping comfort is much better in one of those seats. Enjoy your travels and safe trip!
2:38 mu Favorite airline lounge in Garuda first class lounge,so authetically and Comfortable, traditional filling in your brain.
What great shots throughout the video. Can I ask you what camera you use please ?
A very simple one: a I use a Canon SX710HS. I am planning on upgrading my equipment soon though.
Me too, Addicted to your vlogs, Thumps UP :)
thank you!!!
Great upload with a great airline.
I love airports!

The best lounge would be the one in Hamad Intl Airport(Doha), Wonderful Video, Greetings from Australia.
I love your video.Which camera do you use?
Hi men I love these videos keep it up.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
I like to look at the menu and think about what I would choose!
The 777 300 er flight felt like Business class it was utterly Amazing
