All you can do is practice mate. Practice is so important. Keep it up and soon you'll be able to play like me. Also, as much as it sounds boring, learning the theory side of drumming will help you massively. Things will start to make a lot more sense and you'll find it easier dissecting pieces of music and working out how they're played.
      Never give up bro!

Hell yeah man! Before I had a kit, I used to air drum everything too! Drums is luckily one of those instruments that you can practice even if you don't have a kit. Keep up the drumming man and thanks for the kind words! :)

@@RhysClarkeDrums Thank you so much for the motivation, man. Hopefully I can afford drum kits and play on real instrument someday. I hope the best for you and your YT channel. Peace!

Hey Rhys! This clip hit me after The Remedy was in my queue. And admittedly it is going to feel odd to gloss right over the flawless track, but I just happen to have bought an Alesis DM10 MKII Pro and I was curious if you’re using a plug-in to get those tones, or did you customize the sounds from the module?
I have only been using the module, but with some patience and a few cocktails, I am getting some decent personalization. Your kit sounds dope so I’m really hoping you’re just getting that from the module as well. Care to share some of how you’re set up?

Hey man! Thanks for the kind words. I’m using a free VST called MTPowerkit2. The sounds from the module weren’t great in my opinion. Free sample packs are good. A little bit of EQ and compression on the samples and you’re good to go.
