It's something you need a talent for, I've tried singing while playing the drums, it doesn't work for me...
Yeah, I've found it's kinda of like adding a new limb to your playing. I would start with easy songs that you can play basically flawlessly, and just try singing along while you play. It's a niche thing that not many drummers implement into their playing, but you just gotta do it over and over and it'll come easily eventually.

what is some advice for learning your favorite songs? Great work btw!
I naturally pick up a lot of the parts just from listening to them over the course of a couple weeks, then when I decide I want to fully learn the song, I usually will look it up on RUclips and air drum through the song until I get to a part I can't play yet. Once I get there, I turn down the speed of the song and just air drum each part over and over until I have the whole song down. Then I air drum it at full speed until I know all of the parts. After that, I move it to the pad and kit and practice until I'm comfortable. Hope that helps!

Unfortunately, I haven't had much time lately to make any drum videos, so I probably wouldn't be able to make anything like that. However, there are a bunch of great videos on this kit that I watched before I bought it that I would recommend to you. This kit is awesome though, and I've never had any issues getting it to do exactly what I need it to do.
