World Champion Magnus Carlsen and 11 more of the world's best chess players are competing in the Chessable Masters by chess24, the 3rd event in the $1 million Magnus Carlsen Chess Tour, taking place from June 20 to July 5. The 12 players will first be reduced to 8 in a 4-day knockout stage split into two groups. The A Group features Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Daniil Dubov, Alexander Grischuk, Vladislav Artemiev and Harikrishna.
The players play each other twice in rapid chess over 10 rounds, with the top 4 then advancing to the knockout stage. The time control is 15 minutes for all moves, with a 10-second increment from move 1. No draw offers are allowed before move 40. It really is nothing too serious though, this is considered very much routine surgery in any heart center.

May your procedure and recovery go well so you are able to keep putting your entire heart into your content. I like your attitude about it, and I'm sure your doctors and the staff involved would be appreciative of your trust in them. The fact that something like this could be considered 'not a big deal' is a testament both to your admirable outlook and the amazing strides in medical technology that have been made. They have even, more recently, worked out a lot of the issues once associated with the older mechanical valves, so you may very well be stuck making our Sundays bright and being a name of great repute at the bar and the library for a long time. For this I am thankful.

Hey Antonio. A buddy of mine had the same surgery back in 1995. He is 75 years old now and doing well the last time I spoke to him. Serious surgery, but those docs really have it together. Take care, friend.

My uncle is 75 and had the same issue and survived the surgery without any problems. I hope you‘ll stay healthy
Always a difficult thing with valve replacements,I was born with a congenital heart defect and ended up having surgery at 16 to replace my pulmonary and aortic valves,and now at 38 I just had them replaced again after removal of an aneurysm on my ascending aorta. I now have a prosthetic aorta to go along with 2 new valves as of april 29th of this year. 10 weeks later and I'm still trying to get over through it all. Good luck,stay strong, and don't forget to increase your vast knowledge of all things cardiac related.

It's because he has speakers down there and they are creating a double echo sound to us when combined with the in game recorded audio in the videos, so that's y he reduces nulls the audio in his speakers so that we can have a clear single audio of the movement of the pieces. U can hear the double sound before the"sorry about that" from him..... He used to explain this in very old videos but then stick with sorry about that. I hope he remembers to null the speaker sound before starting the video someday!!! But then we won't be able to get an apology from him anymore: (

So you were a blue baby too! I've had multiple valve replacements and let me tell you, they are getting better at it by leaps and bounds every year. Hopefully you can get yours through the groin. Significantly reduces hospital down time. You can be back at home in days instead of weeks. Your friends at the bar and the library will be amazed.

I gave anesthesia in heart surgeries from 1978-1985. Today improvements have made it quite a bit easier for the patient to recover quickly, whereas in the past you faced a long hospitalization and recovery. Everything is quicker and safer now. Your heart will function stronger which means you will get more oxygen to the brain which will lead to a huge improvement in your analytical capabilities and Chess Board vision. Hence your channel will be even greater and we will all benefit from it. Stay tough to get strong.
