JBG, don’t know if u eat popcorn or not but I usually keep a small box of mini bags of popcorn and slim jims and beef jerky from walmart in the truck to snack on during the day while going down the road just to keep something in my stomach but not heavy enough to take a nap afterwards. It comes in handy along with those ritz and salami slices.
Protein is good for energy too. Protein shakes will tire you at first, but wake you back up after. When I drink 16 oz of muscle milk, I'm tired for 2-3 hours, but then I get a big boost. It's a far healthier energy drink.
Not consuming enough protein during the day can be a primary reason for fatigue. Protein-based foods provide the body with fuel to repair and build tissues. Protein takes longer than carbohydrates to break down in the body, providing a longer-lasting energy source. You can find protein in poultry, fish, lean red meat, nuts, milk, yogurt, eggs, yogurt, cheese and tofu.
You have food stashed everywhere, I would buy two storage bins from Walmart and put all your dry food in them....just set them up on your top bunk...nice and organized.
