    Love your videos! What is the suggested dose of colostrum and pycnogenol for someone who is under-weight with consitpation/candida/lyme and sensitive to supplements?❤

    Thank you 🙏. You are the first doctor, who has mentioned/admitted that histamine and mastcellsliberation can be caused by medicine and hormones 👍. I have had servere life threatening mastcell/histamine-reactions, when I was put on both a hormonal coil and an antidepressant together. And later on HRT. Everything got worse and worse. My body collapsed and futher on my brain. NO body knew what was going on so the doctor gave me more medicine and hormones while my body and mind went nuts in flares, brainfog, liver problems, swollen body, servere leaky gut and constipation and stomack cramps, anxiety, wawes of despair, sweats etc. especially when I ate. So traumatic. I have figured it out myself and am now tapering out of medication and take no hormones and eat low histamine foods and glutenfree, which have helped tremendously 👍. Again thank you for the validation and info about this 🙏.

    Thank you very much. I ve been struggling since 59 years, had already 2 endometriosis operations, several anaphylactic reactions, actually i ve suffered like a dog and had to find out by myself and the hard way what to avoid and how to live. Histamine intolerance is known since only a few years, so many doctors advised me to see a psychiatrist, but i never gave up. You do a great job with your videos on the subject, they help me a lot, although i know in the meanwhile lots of things and don t have episodes since nearly 3 years now. I wish all people the best of health, never give up, and to you fulfillment and joy. Thank you again for your contribution to better health and a better life. Many greetings from Greece. ❤

      Excellent thanks for sharing!
      Palmitoylethanolamide (PEA) is widely presented in the literature for its analgesic and anti-inflammatory activity for the management of multiple clinical conditions [26]. In the context of allergic diseases, PEA functions as a mast cell stabiliser and inhibits histamine release [19].

    Thank you very much!! Why do you recommend Ascorbyl palmitate Vitamin C? I am not familiar with this vitamin c do you have anymore information on why it helps histamine intolerance/MCAS? If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks.

    • @DrRichardHagmeyer
      @DrRichardHagmeyer  2 месяца назад

      It is a form of vitamin c that is the least likely to cause a reaction. There are some clinicians who will say that because it is “fermented” it will raise histamine. I have not seen this to be the case, and I have not see any studies that state this as well. It is a synthetic form of vitamin C that I studies has been shown to metabolize histamine.
      Ascorbyl palmitate is a highly bioavailable, fat-soluble form of ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and possesses all the properties of native water-soluble counterpart, that is vitamin C. It is a potent antioxidant in protecting lipids from peroxidation and is a free radical scavenger.
      www.sciencedirect.com › asc...
      This scientifically enhanced form of Vitamin C - created by adding a fatty acid derived from palm oil - represents a breakthrough in the use of ascorbic acid in the anti-aging war. It absorbs quickly into the skin and achieves more than six times the level of concentration as regular Vitamin C.

      As long as you have adequate calcium in your diet, oxalates aren't usually a problem. True oxalate sensitivity is rare

      @@vanessac1965that’s not true at all. It doesn’t matter if you eat lots of calcium in your diet if you have mold or candida issues , both of which continue to create more and more oxalates. Calcium will only serve as a buffer but not get rid of the Oxlates issue.

    Most vitamin c is from fermented corn , tapioca, etc. palmate vitamin c is from fermented tapioca and thus increasing histamine

    • @DrRichardHagmeyer
      @DrRichardHagmeyer  Месяц назад +1

      In theory you are correct however ALLthe studies that have looked at vitamin C and its effect on histamine production and Mast cell stability have used this form of vitamin C. We do know that vitamin C (both synthetic and natural) have benefit.
