@@djangofett4879 to be clear just so we’re on the same page here I’m talking about the way the actors portray the relationship. I believed it more because the actors gave their all and were good but obviously the substance of the relationship is what makes no sense.
I remember watching downloading the leaked versions, thinking it was the real thing and just being beyond disappointed. It was until years later I saw the real thing on TV and felt like an idiot. The CG wasn't even finished in the leak 😂😂😂
One of the (many) things that bother me about this movie is that Logan fought in the US Revolution War and the Vietnam war. Logan is Canadian, he would have never fought in those wars because Canada didn't fight in those war. It's a detail but it always annoyed me. Lol
Not to mention that the first scene starts in the Northern Canadian Territories in 1845, when they were actually formed in 1870. Canada wasn’t even an independent nation until 1868.
Y'know, that's a very good point! It never occurred to me until I read it. And yes, as a Canadian, why would he join those wars? Now I wish those flashbacks were just special ops missions in different countries. This way you could build up the team and make their last mission even more meaningfuk.
Also a special shout out to Skip Woods who wrote this piece of shit film. Which explains a lot of the bad dialog. That dude cant write a film to save his career looking back on his resume which says it all. They should never...EVER let him write another movie again.
I always thought it was crazy that the movie made Logan and Sabertooth brothers. Since Logan killed Sabretooth's brother in the comic. 😅 Gambit has always been my favorite marvel character. This Temu version from this movie completely let me down. Lol
Little Wolverine's mother had an affair with little Sabertooth's father. Little Sabertooth's father passed on the mutant gene to little Wolverine. Little Sabertooth wasn't living with little Wolverine, in fact little Wolverine's fake father tells little Sabertooth something like..."Thanks for visiting, but it's time to go home now." Sabertooth and Wolverine only share a father, they have different mothers. But little Sabertooth, by smell or senses, could always tell little Wolverine was his blood kin.
I thought it sucked making them brothers just for the movie when they aren’t related in the books. But Wolverine and Sabretooth didn’t share the same mother in the movie, she was had cheated on her husband with Sabretooth’s father who was a groundskeeper for the rich man who he shot.
Logan’s mom didn’t remarry. Elizabeth was having an affair with Thomas Logan (victors and Logan’s father.) Logan and Victor are half brothers. Same Fathers, Different Mothers
Ah yes, the movie that thought it was a good idea to sew Deadpool's mouth (you know, **THE MERC WITH A MOUTH?!)** shut. And give him laser eyes too for whatever reason.
I will admit that the name Deadpool is at least more fitting in the context of him being a "pool" of superheroes' powers. Still bizarre that they shaft an entire character just for irony lol
Still to this day... the best thing about this movie was the movie tie in game. Hopefully Marvel's Wolverine gives us the same magic that X-Men Origins Wolverine on Ps3/360 did.
I really wish Marvel did a new take at this Wolverine Origins movie, there is a lot of material and potential to this, especially in the early years, they could make a whole saga out of how Wolverine grew up as a messed up , feral kid with or without his brother.
Another thing: this movie whitewashed Silver Fox. In the comics she is Blackfoot Indigenous. The whitewashing of Marvel characters is still going on unfortunately (the Maximoff twins, The Ancient One, Sunspot, and Thunderball).
I won't lie... I still like Dark Phoenix & New Mutants over this. Those other two movies, I was just bored by them. This, I remember just being actively angry while watching it. This had all the ingredients to be great, and yet it was a colossal fuck-up in the end.
The X-Men franchise has very big highs, but damn they got some humongous lows. The fact some people the worst X-Men movie is better than some of the recent MCU stuff is baffling to me cause at worst an MCU project can be just mediocre, but this, Dark Phoenix, and New Mutants are all terrible. I’ll even take Secret Invasion over this despite how bad that show was.
Ummm.. Tbh. In the beginning of the movie, Logan didn't know Victor was his brother. Logan's mom cheated on her husband with Victor's dad, which resulted in Logan.
"They gave me a shot of hydrochlorothiazide" kills me every time. That's a diuretic. It just makes you pee a lot to reduce blood volume & decrease blood pressure.
The movie that introduced Ryan Reynolds as the WORST Deadpool, but then became the BEST Deadpool Destined to 💩 all over this one 😂 FYI it’s Also hilarious that the videogame tie in was way better than the film.
Marvel Studios made bad movies sometimes until you guys are gonna have a nice Deadpool Wolverine’s best movie weekend roasting that dumbass 2009 flick 15 years ago. Plus you got Billy with you to make it entertaining for helping us Marvel fans having a nice weekend. My props to you, gents. 👍🍺🍻
And in the American Civil War, and in WW1/2 in American uniforms. I feel like a solution would be easy, just write about how they wanted to leave Canada behind after the family stuff, and then Wolverine decides to move back when he separates from from Victor
Damn really? Do you happen to know why?? I genuinely haven't been keeping up with the channel but did notice that they went a while without posting anything here & was mainly posting to their website instead
Just checked their playlist & gahdamn A LOT of them are indeed gone :/ being someone who likes to go through & re-watch a lot of their older videos (particularly the roasts) this actually sucks to hear :(
@SwimmingSince1997 I noticed it when I was planning to rewatch their Street Fighter Movie Roast. And it just got worse and worse as I kept looking for other classic DT Bad Movie Roasts. I'm not sure how it happened, but I'm really hoping something could get resolved and we could see these old Bad Movie Roasts again. Because right now I'm depressed.
What’s crazy about this movie is that Hugh Jackman himself co-produced the movie. And I don’t know if you guys know this but there’s going to be a new Wolverine video game from the same studio that made the recent Spider Man video games. I just hope that if they give an origin part of the character in the game that they do justice for it. And there was an X-Men Origins Wolverine tie in game. It was better than the movie in terms of story and that’s mostly because of the uncaged edition of the game. It’s not the greatest game but it’s decent enough to improve on the movie.
Kid Logan was played by a RUclips singer and artist named Troye Sivan(my sis played his music all through the house as a teen). Also, if Wolverine and Sabertooth fought in every major war, then how were they not found out cuz photography existed? Toss in veterans swapping stories and it makes no sense for no one to recognize them
This movie glosses over the process of bonding adamantium to Logan like CRAZY lol. They made it look like something you book a day off work to go get done lol a few needles and your WHOLE skeleton is coated in adamantium 😂. My suspension of disbelief only goes so far.
It's speculated that this is specifically the Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine. This is confirmed to be a different timeline than the other X-men movies. And they reffer to this particular version as the worst Wolverine as an inside joke amongst Fox and the actors and of course the fans.
I remember seeing this with my brother and his girlfriend at a movie theater. This was my first Marvel movie and it was alright though I never really cared for Xmen franchise back then.
That's funny...that scene where Logan screams when his girl's in Logan's hands and he screams (2nd scream), and they mentioned it, that he probably does this often...I was imagining Logan finishing up a deuce in the bathroom, and he's chewing on a butterscotch...it drops out as he's flushing...slow motion...tries to push it from falling in with his claws and misses, and....AAARRRRGHHH!!! ......and of course it would be Martin who would mention the same thing, only with the wrong jelly on a PB&J sammich, AS I'm imagining this
I don't believe the guys mentioned this in the audio review but this movie was also a victim of the writer's strike 2007-08, as well as some studio interference. Others affected were Quantum of Solace and Transformers II.
Imagine if your first viewing of this was the Workprint version that leaked on the Internet, and was Bootleggers Meal Ticket that Spring. The place where Logan got the Bonding Process done, and where Striker's Final Base on 3 Mile Island weren't in the same Location.
1:03:07 It makes me laugh so hard to watch this part and imagine Deadpool trying desperately to still talk through his lack-of-a-mouth. Just going "MMPH MMPH MMMHMMPH" while he's trying to say "LOGAN. LOGAN HELP THEY TOOK MY MOUTH. I CAN'T BE 'THE MERC WITH THE MOUTH' WITHOUT A FUCKING MOUTH, WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO ME"
Unpopular opinion: I never thought it was a bad movie. It was bad that they deviated from the source materials to the point where it came out generic, but to me, what it was guilty of was being a summer popcorn film and nothing more. Honestly, I never cared for Deadpool so I wasn't overtly offended like every other person on the net, screaming how this wasn't the original deadpool. If you read back to the original Liefeld stories, Deadpool didn't even start off as a jokey character until later on. Do I think it's great? No, but I don't think it's the dumpster fire people make it out to be. It's not Madame Web bad.
I guess that Matinee from the Spill review didn’t stick this time Korey 😂. Funny thing is about Deadpool or Barraka-pool in this movie is that actually wasn’t Ryan Reynolds underneath the makeup, that was Scott Adkins. I actually learned this from Chris Stuckmann’s Hilariocity review with The Flick Pick. Also keeping track of the Bad Movie Roast Hall of Fame, this makes Hugh Jackman’s 2nd time on the roast with this and Van Helsing.
@@DericMyersYTThat’s what I thought, but apparently that was Scott Adkins since someone pointed that he kinda looks like Ryan Reynolds, or at least the same shape head. I might be wrong.

their relationship was very poorly portrayed. liev Schreiber is a good actor but he is wasted here.
@@djangofett4879 to be clear just so we’re on the same page here I’m talking about the way the actors portray the relationship. I believed it more because the actors gave their all and were good but obviously the substance of the relationship is what makes no sense.
Liev was supposed to be in Logan. That's why wolverine's clone in that movie resembles Liev.
This timeline got deleted from Deadpool from another timeline.
I remember watching downloading the leaked versions, thinking it was the real thing and just being beyond disappointed. It was until years later I saw the real thing on TV and felt like an idiot. The CG wasn't even finished in the leak 😂😂😂
The version where you can see the wires and shit? 😂😂
Facts.💀
I saw it on bootleg with my friends for my birthday that year and it was hysterical 😂😂😂
In WW1/2 they're in American uniforms I believe as well. Just have them in Canadian uniforms for those at least!
Logan apparently had to work triple time to get that American citizenship. 😂
Probably was mercenaries or forged identities so nobody wouldn't catch on to them being in different wars and not aging a bit
Also a special shout out to Skip Woods who wrote this piece of shit film. Which explains a lot of the bad dialog. That dude cant write a film to save his career looking back on his resume which says it all. They should never...EVER let him write another movie again.
Just realized that there is another mutant who was in this movie and also returning in Deadpool and Wolverine movie, although with different actor😅
I was disappointed the way they did Deadpool but this film is ok I liked it liv scheiber was an excellent sabertooth
The opening montage was fantastic
I always thought it was crazy that the movie made Logan and Sabertooth brothers.
Since Logan killed Sabretooth's brother in the comic. 😅
Gambit has always been my favorite marvel character. This Temu version from this movie completely let me down. Lol
I love the bad post podcasts Billy's laugh omg awesome
17:45 the way Korey goes out of frame when depicting Sabertooth losing his mind is the funniest thing ever
Even though this movie gets talked about a lot I still almost always forget it exist lol.
Same haha I think we all tried to forget it exists 😅
Korey & Martin should have worn their Deadpool & Wolverine's costumes for this review.
So Korey could tell even more bad jokes?…No thanks!
The gang is back!! My favorite channel! Love the roasts. I watch all ur videos
Elizabeth was having an affair with Thomas Logan (victors and Logan’s father.)
Logan and Victor are half brothers. Same Fathers, Different Mothers
Wasn't even Ryan Reynolds as "Deadpool" at the end, it was Scott Adkins
With Ryan
Ah yes, the movie that thought it was a good idea to sew Deadpool's mouth (you know, **THE MERC WITH A MOUTH?!)** shut.
And give him laser eyes too for whatever reason.
I will admit that the name Deadpool is at least more fitting in the context of him being a "pool" of superheroes' powers. Still bizarre that they shaft an entire character just for irony lol
One explanation to why he didn’t really ask about the process was because he knew that he couldn’t die so he probably didn’t really care that much
"I'm already scrubbed in, are we gonna do this or...." 😂😂😂
Still to this day... the best thing about this movie was the movie tie in game.
For what it’s worth, Lynn Collins is 1/4 Native (if not more).
@@Lillian.Gao. Right. But she is still white.
Sunspot was played by a Brazilian both times
Aww man
The movie that introduced Ryan Reynolds as the WORST Deadpool, but then became the BEST Deadpool Destined to 💩 all over this one 😂 FYI it’s Also hilarious that the videogame tie in was way better than the film.
I'm still holding out hope that the MCU X-Men will finally give us a good Emma Frost on the big screen. Third time's the charm, right?
“Third ones usually the worst”
Their words
@@ninjanibba4259 shhhhhhh let me dream

Marvel Studios made bad movies sometimes until you guys are gonna have a nice Deadpool Wolverine’s best movie weekend roasting that dumbass 2009 flick 15 years ago. Plus you got Billy with you to make it entertaining for helping us Marvel fans having a nice weekend. My props to you, gents. 👍🍺🍻
Still one of the best opening credits scenes
Yep! I'm glad the guys commented on the opening montage. I've always liked that.
Maxi pad on his eyes, not tampon 😂
Them being in the Vietnam war always bugged me, because arent they supposed to be canadian??
And in the American Civil War, and in WW1/2 in American uniforms. I feel like a solution would be easy, just write about how they wanted to leave Canada behind after the family stuff, and then Wolverine decides to move back when he separates from from Victor
I still can’t stand how they thought Rupert’s Land was called the Northwest Territories in the 1840s 🤦♂️
This was my introduction to Deadpool smh
I'm still sad about literally half the bad movie roasts are privated now.
I was in the middle of watching their sleepwalkers review and it was gone
You forgot to mention that there's a scene after the credits.
Yeah 👍 ikr 😅 idk how they forgot to mention that in the review and good 👍 for putting that out too bro 😎
The first time I seen this I never even knew that was supposed to be Deadpool thought he was a man with swords
An hour long Wolverine movie roast lemme lock in
What’s crazy about this movie is that Hugh Jackman himself co-produced the movie.
Classic game 2 me
Kid Logan was played by a RUclips singer and artist named Troye Sivan(my sis played his music all through the house as a teen).
His whole skeleton except for the teeth. That’s smoother thing I wonder. I didn’t read any comics, but can’t help but wonder 😂.
The graphic novel really showed how intense it was & how the watched 2 see how accurate a weapon he was
It's speculated that this is specifically the Wolverine in Deadpool and Wolverine.
That's funny...that scene where Logan screams when his girl's in Logan's hands and he screams (2nd scream), and they mentioned it, that he probably does this often...I was imagining Logan finishing up a deuce in the bathroom, and he's chewing on a butterscotch...it drops out as he's flushing...slow motion...tries to push it from falling in with his claws and misses, and....AAARRRRGHHH!!!
......and of course it would be Martin who would mention the same thing, only with the wrong jelly on a PB&J sammich, AS I'm imagining this
1:04:09 "make it last y'all" had be rolling 🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂
30:17 Nah it would definitely hurt, those are bones being broken lol it's not like Sabertooth breaking a nail, which still doesn't feel nice btw
The first half of this film is literally 'Commando' with Bennett's back story (he enjoyed the killing too much).
Sabretooth’s animal run was always hilarious to me lol
ALWAYS hated that they turned him getting the adamantium into a single day event instead of him being captured and experimented for YEARS!
It wasn’t on an island so get facts right. It was at alkali lake in Canada. This is shown in omen 2
29:00 he's dizzy just from the cuts! 😆 🤣 Billy was truly shocked.
I don't believe the guys mentioned this in the audio review but this movie was also a victim of the writer's strike 2007-08, as well as some studio interference. Others affected were Quantum of Solace and Transformers II.
I’ve been looking forward to this review 😂
Please bring back the oogileloves and the chuck e cheese and the others you removed i loved those.
Imagine if your first viewing of this was the Workprint version that leaked on the Internet, and was Bootleggers Meal Ticket that Spring. The place where Logan got the Bonding Process done, and where Striker's Final Base on 3 Mile Island weren't in the same Location.
Back in the day when this movie leaked online somebody on spill review this movie and got the sight into a little bit of controversy at the time.
1:03:07
It makes me laugh so hard to watch this part and imagine Deadpool trying desperately to still talk through his lack-of-a-mouth.
Just going "MMPH MMPH MMMHMMPH" while he's trying to say "LOGAN. LOGAN HELP THEY TOOK MY MOUTH. I CAN'T BE 'THE MERC WITH THE MOUTH' WITHOUT A FUCKING MOUTH, WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS TO ME"
24:15 "See, he was doing it too" lol 😂😂😂
That makes Ryan Reynolds' jokes making fun of this movie so much better with that in mind.
It’s him in the closeups. It’s the other guy doing the fighting.
@@DericMyersYTThat’s what I thought, but apparently that was Scott Adkins since someone pointed that he kinda looks like Ryan Reynolds, or at least the same shape head. I might be wrong.
24:58 Bob Ross:"We are just going to paint some little baby Groots on top of the Gorg mountain hills back here."
I'm glad most things are either 'right here' or 'right there'.. for time is the longest distance
1:00:32 "They gave me a shot of hydroclorothiacide..... so to get back to my story....."
I remember my dad renting this to watch when he had me for a weekend and I remember us laughing at how ridiculous Deadpool Looked love your guys reviews you guys should try doing the first X-men trilogy
40:33 Right next to Arnold in Predator, one of the best male on-screen screams.
Wow. Was absolutely oblivious to how bad the writing was of crowbaring in Scott Summers.
I really didn't mind the way they made Deadpool it was something new and refreshing and not so on the nose but I'm glad they stuck with the characters and we have what we have today
I wish they mentioned at the end, How come in x-men 1 wolverine didn't say: btw, after I lost my memory I woke up in this broken factory
professor Xavier: oh that's odd, that's where I picked up Scott and the others that same day
i will always say the bootleg version was the best lol especially the changed line in the elevator
Awesome!! DT on a roll 👏🏽
Oh....that brother shit.....the movie "Four Brothers" did that ALOT too....I was like "God damn, I get it already....stop repeating it! FUCK!"
XD
