I'm probably in the minority, but I find it annoying. Like I feel like he does it for giggles and it's a cliche. I highly doubt he really finds things THAT funny, but of course got to entertain the viewers. YAWN.
@@devontehuntley6274 I don't know man, I had a friend who laughed like this. His laugh wasn't quite as loud but it was that kind of infectious laugh that makes other people want to laugh. Some people are just silly like that. Maybe he is playing it up just a little bit for the camera but personally it kills me everytime I hear it 😂 but to each their own.

The only actress I feel sorry for is Halle Berry. I love that when she was accepting her Razzy, she laid out burns left and right to her co-workers and her managers who put her in that film. She wasn't taking bullshit from anyone after she did that film on that stage.

I'd rather have a bad cheesy movie than a forgettable mediocre one. People still talk about Catwoman than say...half the Netflix originals like Triple Frontier
Triple Frontier is great!
Honestly? The core concept/ideas were solid. Lady Bass passed on the powers of the feline for generations to the current recipient Patience Phillips. It was a nice alternate take on Catwoman. Pitof directed both Catwoman and Aliens 4. Both of these movies visually looked fantastic and had a solid story and cast.
But the script for Catwoman is what sunk the movie.
Yup, those Netflix movies are mid. High production value, but still mid.
I wish they would take more chances on crazier shit.

The amount of cutting in editing during that one on one basketball scene with the kids cheering, almost gave me a conniption. I legit felt dizzy watching it in theaters lol

That basketball scene was awful, but there's another scene that involved one guy talking and it cuts to another shot of the same guy talking but he moved an inch to the right and another shot where he moved to the left. Someone watched that scene and thought "Yeah, that looks good. No one will notice."

When I was reviewing CATWOMAN last month, all I could think seeing that Sharon Stone dummy was that only Billy's laugh could do this bullshit justice. And it did...it really, really did.

I still remember seeing this in the theater, we didnt go to The movies that often but when we did we were happy to see literally ANYTHING.

Contrary to popular belief each of the Batman 66 catwomen had different identities like ms. Kitka. Just like Patience Phillips. Pfeifer despite being well recieved was also far from the comics Selina and influenced the off putting "fall and get powers" take on the character. Honestly so far the closest has been Anne Hathaway barting the bladed heels and incidental binocular ears.
Looking back, I remember Halle's character wearing a black bodysuit with zippers on it, and I recently went, "Wait, why isn't THIS her Catwoman suit?"
The scene you're talking about, is the one where she actually goes to a neighborhood party, and I think she confronts a biker (the bike she steals is his).
Bless her heart for trying to play this movie straight. She really tried.
To be clear, she wasnt walking around a restricted area "for no reason". She was trying to find someone to hand her package to....a package that her boss specifically asked for. But since it was midnight, she had to take the package herself and due to the bulding being empty, she didnt know who she should take the package to. Its still a dumb plot line, it just irritated me when they made it sound like she was just snooping and wandering around the facility before she died 😂😂

I was thinking about this movie today, how much I actually appreciate it against other bad movies like it. This one seems more fun, lighthearted and it lacks the mean-spiritness that I often find in other "bad movies". I'm glad the boys covered this today, because goddamn did it ever remind me of the obnoxious editing. That shit is near unforgivable.
Also, Halle Berry is so naturally charming you can't help but love her.

The best thing about this movie which is also sad is that she spent months learning Capoeira they only show her fight a few times and the editing makes it horrible. She did learn a great martial art which could lead into her learning for John Wick 3, she knew what it would have taken for the fight scenes... I guess.
