Those are some very interesting looking six by nines. They look very similar to 4 10 inch woofers.
When the EV wrangler comes out I’ll be looking at a system like this for sure!
Thanks for watching :-) Please consider subscribing :-)
I have the Stage 6 in my JLU with the Alpine Sub upgrade and it sounds freaking amazing. Next I will be adding the tailgate Sub with the amp under then underwear Amp rack, for a total of 1600 watts, and the MBQJ-48H. Those are for sure my next stereo up grades.
That is going to be amazing... what part of the country are you in? i need to start working on my wife's jeep next but i want to do our JK too. wish mb quart had a sound bar for the older jeeps... thanks for watching please consider subscribing :-)
@@TheBHiveRV I’m in South Western Indiana.
I love the smooth video editing
Thanks for watching :-)
Such a thorough and amazing video! Thank you so much Brian hopefully you're enjoying the sound system.
I love it! Mb Quart has always made high-quality audio components and they out did themselves with this system. Thanks for watching :-)
Wow The best video I’ve ever seen . been on the fence about getting the MB courts because someone in a sound shop didn’t like it and I don’t know if he ever heard it
I can tell you this system is awesome... ive had many custom systems in vehicles since i was a teenager and this sounds incredible. I have to drive my gladiayor by myself now most of the time because my wife always wants me to turn it down... it rocks plane and simple.. thanks for watching. 🙂
What a great write-up. Been thinking about this upgrade to my 2023 JT Rubi. Probably get it within a month but not sure. SHould I really splurge and get the 4-8" speaker soundbar? I love my music loud and clear. Wil definaltey be getting the under the backseat sub as well.
Thanks for the comment, so definitely get the subs.... worht every penny. The 4 10s in the sound bar are great as well but if you do want to save a couple dollars the 6x9s are solid too, they sound great as well and take up less space with more of a factory look... thanks for watching please consider subscribing. 🙂
This is cool 🙂

Thanks for the video! Just bought my first jeep wrangler 2024 4xe and started looking for sound upgrades. Used mb quart components about 30 yrs ago and was completely blown away with the sound quality. Had used Rockford Fosgate subs back then because mb quart was only producing mainly tweeters and mids at that time. How is the base quality? Do your amps run hot? Will definitely use your storage bin idea for organizing the nuts n bolts when the time comes.
The bass is amazing … hits hard but is tight and responsive … have had no issues with the amps running hot and I’m in Las Vegas …great system you will be happy with it … I think I’m going to put the same one in my jk… thanks for watching please consider subscribing:-)
Very cool. Would love to compare the sound. I have a '23 Sahara so no under seat woofer for me. I ordered my standard Audio Control D4.800 but decided to give CTAudio a chance this time instead of Morel. On sale, I got front 3-way components and 2-way components for 700$. A steal and they sound great. they were the 30th anniversary edition kevlar 6.75" with 3" Kevlar mids and their wide band silk tweeters rated for 50Khz. I added a Ground Zero sub and enclosure to the back running off an amp under the driver seat. I did have to fabricate my own amp rack for the passenger seat for the D4.800 DSP and the crossovers. I spent about the same thing overall.
Sounds awesome, why isn't there room under the back seat for the sub? can you post some pics? Love to see the system. -- Thanks for watching please consider subscribing :-) OIIIIIIIO
The seats in the wrangler fold down to extend the rear storage and become flush with the floor.@@TheBHiveRV
Awesome content, thanks for making video to document all processes. I have a base sport gladiator with 7 inch screen, could I just borrow your plan? I also want to upgrade to 8.4 inch version, could I just order oem unit? Aftermarket units are not looking good and feel all android ones not that stable yet. Thank you
Thanks for the comment yes you can order a new 8.4 from the dealer or find one used on eBay or in some of the forums. You can use anything you like from my video and if you have any questions you can reach out to me I’ll be happy to help.
I was going to make a video on this. Glad you did the work and a nice job of it! I got the sound bar (with horn and RGB) along with the tailgate sub about a week ago. Did you have any issues with connecting the pac audio and the jeep system? I assume not since it was not mentioned. Thanks in advance.
The PAC audio was actually one of the easiest parts of the install. I didnt have to change the dip switches at all and it really was plug and play... i installed the sub remote knob for the pac audio but i dont use it. Thanks for watching please consider subscribing 🙂
Did you have to do any of the reset functions or was it seamless when you turned the jeep on? I watched a few videos where some system resets needed to be done. That was mainly on the dodge vehicles.
Worked from power on with no issues.@@kenmichaels5792
I used to love the old school MB Quart speakers then tweeters were soft dome kind of disappointment that they are now aluminum dome which makes them bright !!!
They are bright, the vocals POP and the guitar solos are amazing.
MB Quart was never soft dome.
I love how crips they are. thanks for watching @@bsherman211
Absolutely great video! I'm at Jeep Beach in Daytona and your video convinced me to get the stage 6 this morning! One question, though...what did you use for the sound deadening mats in your floorboard? I never thought about this but if i'm going to be pulling everything out anyways i might as well do that while it's empty.
So I bought the sound deadening on Amazon … it was pretty inexpensive the brand is Siless and it was about 30 dollars a box and took two or 3 boxes… it definitely made a difference and I ended up buying the same product and putting it in my jeep JK and my wife’s JL you as well you’re gonna love the stage six truthfully it’s my favorite upgrade to my gladiator so far thanks for watching please consider subscribing
Oh, and since you live in Florida, you should really think about getting the arm Eli product. I put that in my gladiator as well as in the jail as well. It’s nice because the sand doesn’t stick to it. You can wash it. It’s like 700 bucks. Well worth it.
I have the upgraded soundbar as well. Did you put poly inside it? I swapped out the amp with one that allowed a bit more adjustment.
I did put poly in it then i took the 6x9s and put them in the old sound bar and put that in my wife's jeep and it sounds much better than the alpine Thanks for watching please consider subscribing.
What rgb controller do you recommend for the rgb soundbar?
Thanks for the video. I have my front speakers and soundbar hooked up and about to hook up the amp, but notice the MBQUART amp wire is 14g. How to I reduce from the 10G battery wire to the 14g?
I put a ring terminal on the wire and connected it to one of the free terminals on the battery post. You are going to love the system ... it is amazing... thanks for watching let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks for the quick reply. I think I may have framed my concern incorrectly. I have the wire going from the battery to the amp under the passenger seat, but how do I connect the wire from the battery, which is 8g or 10g to the MBQUART wiring harness which is only 16g (I think)? I did not purchase the stage 6 kit so they did not send me all of their wiring harnesses and when I called they said they do not sell them separately. I'm concerned going from the thick gauge battery wire to the thinner wiring harness specific to their amp. Hope that made sense. Thanks for taking time out of your day to respond to me!@@TheBHiveRV
I got it now ... I would probably get a terminal block off amazon to do that something like this shorturl.at/tBJT6. @@mikerumpf774
Thanks!@@TheBHiveRV
What position did you put the PAC dip switches in ??
The Pac Audio instruction manual tells you what each swithc is for and when i installed mine I forget the positions but i remember they were in the correct orientation from the factory so i didnt have to change any of them. Thank you for watching let me know oif you have any other questions and let us know how the install turns out.
🙂
Did you remove the factory alpine amplifier?
No that’s the best part of the system, you can leave in your factory amp even thought it won’t be used but if you ever remove the stage 6 you are right back to factory… really happy with the system … it kicks … want yo do it in our wrangler now too thanks for watching please consider subscribing:-)
@@TheBHiveRV wondering if it can be removed if I want to see the old system
@@thaddeuslove6313 I’m not sure to be honest I don’t see why you couldn’t remove it, all the amp connections come from the Qa pro interface
I have the insane audio 9" ultimate head unit. After installing this system I am not getting any power to my head unit. Any thoughts?
How does the insane audio interface with the pac system? is it using the splitter that came with it? or is it wired differently than the stock head unit?
I would check the fuses first make sure one did not get shorted also the grounds ... make sure the connectors are seated properly that would be my first guess, then ckeck for power and ground at each connector working backwards from the head unit until you find it. Let me know hen you find the issue if you are still have troulble give me a call 702-338-9393 we can walk through it. Thanks for watching
