This is honestly the most impressive effect I have seen so far. Seriously time consuming and requires a lot of effort, but is really impressive. I'm only kind of sad of the fact that a lot of hard work goes almost unnoticed by viewers who can't comprehend the effort that was put in making some effects.

But then again, entertainment is like fine dining - people put in a lot of work in the kitchen, exercising great experience and skills, so you could eat an "ordinary", yet delicious steak in 10 minutes. Great tutorial, dude. I had the thought that if you wanted to have the transformation take place in the same location (like a movie effect rather than a transition) you could use the background of the jeep through the whole sequence and drop the background of the white car. Use a second clip with a background and lighting more similar to the first clip, add some color grading and film grain and it should look pretty smooth.

hey Jamie, i decided not use your template (not hating, i just don't have the money), how do you keyframe the masked out object, i am trying to apply davinci resolve's shake effect but the effect is still not working, can you help me?
Note: Position of the camera is as imp as angle of the car. It looks bit choppy because of the position.
In the viewer after I add the macro, the part isn't moving but instead the mask is moving. Could you provide any help with this?

Hello. Everything works fine in the script, but the motion blur doesn't work. How can I fix it? In other nodes built in davinci resolve motion blur works without problems.
I got it. We should change it like this:

Ever since update to the new version of Davinci Resolve 18.5.6 has anyone else notice problems with removal of green screens ? it is removing everything ( or adding everything ).
It is unable to tell the differences between the typical green screen with good lighting, and white and mat white finish tables, brown masking tape, duct tape, and a variety of other objects which are not remotely looking green ( even large items ), not the same light as the green screen, and on a table far away from the green screen.
Or even large items infront of the green screen that are not remotely green.
What are the different / new techniques needed in order to remove a green screen these days ?
Also how to remove the green tinge from around objects.
Free version - not studio version of Davinci Resolve 18.5.6.

You can animate every part by hand or use camera shake, but that’s up to you if you don’t want to buy my simple plugin.

If only photoshop wouldnt cost as much monthly, probably a fun projekt i would follow. Maybe ill just take a picture of the scene without the car or whatever imma put there and it should work as well

@@JamieFenn Dall E doesnt work as well or lets say does a bad Job at it. It might not be noticeable since its only a few frames visible but it doenst feel as good.

Couple of months ago I would have watched this and been so confused cuz of the node based workflow but with just a couple of minutes/hours of tuts, you'll understand everything he did isn't as complicated as it may seem coming from AE. To be fair, there are certain things about AE that are just super simple over Fusion. I mean cmon, I need to create 2-3 nodes just to make a shape when I can just draw it so easily in AE.😂
