Been using your special sauce for motion blur using the adjustment clip and adding optical flow and VMB in fusion but man I didn't know you could render color output for a smoother playback.🤦🏿♂️ I've just been disabling the adjustment clip until export is ready. And the plug-in is going to save me like 3 steps. Thanks for this

Hey I just used the Impact transition on an adjustment clip, it's awesome. for some reason I can't CMD T add a transition but also I added glow size keyframes and now I can't find the keyframes anywhere

At 1.30 ,You can actually adjust it even if the speed is way to high, to access that, you can hover the mouse towards the white text in the graph (in ur case 500%) , click on that and just drag it left, so now you will be able to see the point to smoothen it out!

Wow, youtube always do things like this. I was trying to do similar effect with logo. I searched it on youtube for several times but the tutorial just didn't pop up. So, I had to dirty my hand and do it myself, but since I am a still a beginner in davinci, It took me a full day time to figure things out. But in the end, I did finished it. AND RUclips, youtube recommend me this video only after a full day of pain stake struggle! Thanks alot RUclips! Also great video.🔥

1:25 you can smooth that curve even when you got 2000% clip speed. Just drag the small 500% in that diagram to the left or right.. that change the size of the diagram like you zoom in like in a timeline :) np bro. Love your videos !

@1:26 if you cant see the point, drag the % numbers on the bottom and the top of the retime graph. It changes the parameters that are shown so you can see all of the dots. plz pin btw, it took me a while to figure this out and I'd love to get this to more people

why does my right click not show all the options you have?
Good video as always. It would be dope if you did the same videos but for people with the studio versions , only because i know some of these would be a few less steps being that we can use magic mask .
For this exact effect I wanted the most precise masking possible. It would have actually turned out looking worse and would have taken longer to get the magic mask to get the exact selection Id want. It would also use more computer resources and actually take longer than what I showed you in this video...
@@JamieFenn i literally tried it the other day. Yep . Way worst lol. Plus my version of this even with the magic mask was pretty trash 😂😂🤣

@@juliensimracer The plugins save time so that you don’t have re-make the effects every single time. Also making plugins takes quite a bit of time and effort, so I say it’s fair to sell them.

I bought the motion blur plugin and this cripples my timeline just on a 1 second clip, is there anyway to render a ram preview or something? I cant even go frame by frame , is there any way to make this useable? what's the workflow? just put the plugin on right before you're completely done and ready to render?
Either render the color cache of that clip, turn on smart cache for your computer, buy a super computer, or just disable the clips until you're ready to render. That's what I do.
@@JamieFenn Can you selectively prerender areas like in After Effects? Smart Cache is on, it's not very smart. when you say render color cache do you mean render in place? I have a $5,000 MacBook do I need a PC? thanks

MAN it would be nice to be able to either A) have speed ramps default to curve or B) be able to multi select keyframes and add curve. This gets tedious and it shouldn't have to be

@@JamieFenn keyframing in DVR / Fusion makes me so negative because it's so clumsy. I try to be positive because I like the software. Is there a way to auto fit on the spline editor? that gets annoying too to constantly click that and also why aren't the zoom keyboard shortcuts consistent with the other pages? I have been using DVR 8 hours+ daily and I have a huge list of notes of things that need to be fixed lol

You can still adjust the speed ramping transition independently of the speed: In the black Speed Controls window, you can see two small numbers, the left is the upper limit of the actual window and the right one is the lower limit. You just simply need to click and drag on them to change the limits of the curves

One way I think you do it is: 1. Film a shot without you in it. Then mask yourself when you are in the shot. Keyframe your size to 0 at the start, then go a couple frames forward then go full size. Smooth out the keyframes, add his handy impact effect, and boom.
