If cloning a timelapsed cloudy sky seems tough, alternatively just key out the sky and add a new timelapsed sky under the keyed clip.
Yes, if it's a video where you can easily change the sky, it's better to change it, you save quite a bit of work, in the video of the towers in the intro I did it that way.

what 's the version do you use ?
I do exactly the same thing, it's completly diffferent.
The "draw of different floors", change at the end.
the same thing with command like "merge".
You can command the " move in different place" with merge, i have the 18.6.3, and it 's not possible.
The tutorial was recorded using the free version, version 18.5. What you mentioned about the masks changing position at the end sounds like it could be a Fusion bug. The masks should be from the area you select. For cases like these, I always recommend asking in forums or Facebook groups to find people who may have experienced similar issues.
@@SergiomotaENG I draw the first floor, I zoom in, I do "Ctl-C" and "Ctl-V" for the next floor, I modify a little bit. But at the end when, Remove each floor from the base, every floor are more little than the initial draw.
and as I said, you remove every floor from "Merges", and I , with Polygon.

Honestly speaking I did it in after effects as a beginner. I know the tutorial you made is awesome and I appreciate it but I simply made the parts of building 'layer' with selection tool in Photoshop, imported it in after effects and applied position and motion blur... saved it as MP4 a few more touches and it gives the same effect
Of course, there are many ways to achieve the same effect with other programs and even with Davinci Resolve. The steps you mentioned can also be done in Davinci Resolve without using Fusion. Why don’t you just magic mask it?
Because the title says Davinci Resolve free, to use Magic Mask, the Studio version is required.
@@SergiomotaENG you're right, my bad. And what's your take on getting the Studio version? I think the one time fee is so worth it for people who edit on a regular basis, just for things like Magic Mask. It saves soooo much time.
Interesting but this is skill level is to mutch for me
I know Fusion can be intimidating, but in the end, it's not that difficult.
Nonetheless, there are other ways to do it much simpler. Maybe in the future, I'll create a more straightforward version of this tutorial and share some tricks.
@@SergiomotaENG Simpler is usually better! I'm not sure why you would teach a more advanced version intentionally when there is a simple way? This one was too advanced for me as well. Love your channel, thanks for the content.
