  • I hadn't seen too many people discuss let alone come up with an answer to this question. So I took it upon myself to make this video. Hope you enjoy.

I was a BrighidxAegeon believer because of the ether lines on sena but you have convinced me otherwise

That's interesting but I don't see that happening, while Sena's father being Aegaeon is far more plausible. In XC2 I remember some hints towards Brighid having a thing for Aegaeon and the ether lines of Sena are like Aegaeon's and he was also made a party member in Torna. Now the real question is whether Taion is the son of somebody we know.

I don't think so. I think they use the same way how Rex and his wives have a children. somehow they find a method that Blade can give birth to a new Blade by not to became a Titan to do that and then they mix a human partner's DNA to a new blade before they birth and now we have a human-Blade hybrid such as Mio.

I guess I never entertained the thought that maybe they didn't have sex. It's true we don't know whether blades and humans can even conventionally reproduce. We might never even find out how all this works. But nonetheless I still like my interpretation.

maybe the cradles also work as some sort of cloning tank which Mòrag and Brighid's DNA was used to make Sena, and lets not forget that Blades who are not flesh eaters or Aegis can't reproduce like a human can.

That's a great point, the video is completely invalid at this point. You win some you lose some :/

I have a theory that human Blades post-Beanstalk collapse were granted reproductive organs, and matched by the desire of Blade and/or Driver, even if a buried yet strong desire. Since the Architect was the kind of God to take criticism to heart (he is the opposite to the stubborn and arrogant Zanza), knowing the mental and emotional toll this had on Blades to live such different life cycles to non-Blades.
Unless somebody can point out accounts for Bladespawn (those born biologically from Blades) during/before Xenoblade 2 or Xenoblade 2 Torna, I’m going to stick to this. Also no, marriage between Blades and Drivers isn't going to cut it, marry without having children all the time, either by choice or complications.
But yeah, futa Brighid with proper testicles is my take.
However, if (timeskip) Niall is the father, Sena would be lined up for the Mor Ardain throne by technicality, assuming she is first born and Mor Ardain doesn't function on male child priority, or she is an only child. She is a princess regardless, making at least 2/3 of the Agnian Ouroboros royalty w/ Mio in line as Gormott's second queen. (I am not sure if Mor Ardainians use ‘prince(ss)’, using the Airbender assumption here)
