      Johnathan Arnold...You are wrong. You should never ******SALT****** lentils while cooking. They will lose their tenderness.

    We like to eat the green lentils as a beef and lentil stew.. along with frensh baguette and some drizzles of olive oil on top....
    It tastes heavely!!!

    We just tried this with my sister for sahur and it turned out AMAZING . We had no swiss chard , so we switched it with basil and as an extra we also added some fresh tomatoes and dried apricots for a little sweetness. I definitely recommend this recipe to everyone. It’s really simple and healthy and so yummy 😋❤️ Thanks for the recipe!

    Does she add the Swiss chard at 6 minutes after the onions and celery and carrots have been cooking? Because she said that mixture would only take about 6 to 8 minutes

      abrcrmbeetennis, shape, size, flavor, how quickly they cook, whether they need soaking, whether they retain their shape well. Some good for dhal, some for salads.

    For my taste too much salt. I never salt anything it's great to taste the flavor of the food.

    Id suggest adding a Tbsp of Honey or sugar with the vinaigrette, unless your lemons are super sweet. Mine came out way too sour, the honey really fixed it!

      xterasss salad doesn't have to be raw. Potatosalad is also not raw and nobody complains about that

    Never add salt to the cooking water for beans/lentils!! Only add it at the end!!

    Why do people nowadays have to add "nice" into everything they describe? Nice and tender, nice and soft, nice and bright green! So annoying.

    You can also not add goat cheese because it's gross. AND instead of sprinkling it over the finished salad, you can sprinkle it in the garbage.
