When the guy was talking about boiling the steak, it was almost painful. They might shoot you in America if you boiled one of these. Typically you would grill this over hot coals and get some serious grill marks going, to provide the all-important Maillard reaction. That's where the flavor is. And unless you demand otherwise, it will be cooked to a medium rare. Then served with a side of horseradish sauce and/or au jus dipping gravy. These steaks looked like they were cooked well done, making them somewhat tougher. Maybe that's a Pakistan thing. It shouldn't be that hard to cut, even with a butter knife. The key to tenderness is all about the cut of meat itself. You must be very picky when buying the steak to make sure it has sufficient marbling. This is what gives the steak its wonderful tenderness. And if you have a silly amount of money, you would find a Wagyu cut, with an insane amount of marbling.

To put Chauhdhary's absolute shock upon hearing the price of 8000 rupees in perspective, here in Pakistan, a regular quarter pounder meal at McDonalds costs around 1000 rupees. A dinner at a pretty fancy restaurant can cost about 3500-5000 rupees per person. 8000 rupees is an insanely expensive amount for us to spend on a single meal meant for one person! 😲🤣
8000 Pakistani rupees is about $34 USD. That's about right for a decent meal out for one person. That said, prices are relative. My salary works out to around 59,000 rupees ($248) per DAY. By law, the LEAST a person in my area can be paid (Minimum Wage) for an HOUR of work is around 3,600 rupees....about $15.00/hr. On the flip side, the two of us (Wife and I) spend about 107,000 rupees ($450) at the grocery store each month. A two-bedroom apartment would be about 321,500 rupees ($1350) per month. A liter of gasoline would be about 298 rupees ($1.25). A kilo of lamb meat would run about 3,600 rupees (About $6.00/per pound).
@@memnoch9418 I'll admit that $100 is what the wife and I spend for a nice dinner for BOTH of us. However, please see my other post where I explain your currency conversion error.

Oh my gosh what a FABULOUS gift... TOMAHAWK STEAK💜👏🏽🙌🏽. It is not an everyday regular family meal... usually it is served in fine dining restaurants. The bone is simply for esthetic effects, and wow is it impressive. Although the sender should have included steak knives for them to cut the steaks with. Chaudhary is definitely a refined connoisseur I think he truly could be a chef. I love how Chaudhary gives up on the butter knife and picks up the whole thing taking a bite, honestly that's how I'd probably do it if I weren't in a restaurant.... it is a rib after all. 👏🏽🙌🏽💜🙏🏽

That should have been eaten when it's hot. I wanted to see them chowing down, right away. Thank you to who cooked that for them.
Wow, when Mr. Chaudhary learned how much they cost, I could feel his indignation almost. These people aren’t on display for us to feel luckier about our situations, and if I were him I wouldn’t feel privileged to eat a meal that was 1/2 my monthly salary when I knew my friends were suffering from the loss of their homes due to the flooding.
there wasnt indignation, it was more shock that the price was about 8x what he was thinking. you see this quite a bit when they ask how much something was and then tell us what they can get in the villages and how much it usually runs or try to figure out how they could make something similar with their local foods.
"Please don't interfere. Let me eat it freely." Laughed out loud. I'm glad I'm not the only one that says that when I'm eating something that is delicious. As for using their hands instead of knife/fork, I do that whenever I eat fajitas, pork, chicken, brisket, etc. Whenever I do anything on the grill, I have to taste it to make sure it's good, so I tear bits/pieces off. Gotta do what you gotta do.

Mr. Chaudhary's eyes when they're describing what a rib steak is! The amazement, the wonder, the anticipation! I love these guys so much, thank you for these video's.
They are gentle souls with kind and pure heart loving every food experience you throw at them. They were amazed at the size but loved every bit of it. You have earned a subscriber. A real positive channel in this age of trash bin content plaguing youtube now-a-days. Well done brothers!
I love how innocent these content creaters are. They gave butter knife to cut the Steak.
I love it when you introduce the team to the theatre and dramatics of food ! That is one well cooked looking steak as well. Meals like this are special and worth eating slowly and in one' s own style. Mr Chaudhary seemed so happy though to be shown how to cut it with the knife and fork
Huge thank you to whomever sent the them the steaks. Watching their faces as they received and ate them was a joy. Your awesome.
There's not a carnivore alive who wouldn't smile watching that beautiful piece of meat coming to their table!
🤣😋
Fat too
🤤🤤🤤
I hope it wasn’t well done.
…and there’s not a vegan or plant based who doesn’t feel 🤢🤮❗️❗️❗️
I adore how respectful each one of them are. Glad they all enjoyed food different from their usual.
Watching all of the reactions to trying the ribeye steaks for the first time is nothing short of pure happiness and joy.
When I watch thee videos, and I watch most all of them, I get nothing but pure joy from seeing their reactions. These are such honest and hard working humans. I love that they are treated to such delights like this.
I am grinning from ear to ear watching them enjoy this meal. I felt bad for Chaudhary when he said 8000 and I'm eating all! I think he felt he should be sharing it. They have such feelings for their fellow man.
Yes I saw that too, like he felt guilty for eating all by himself self he shouldn't though he deserves it. They have such kind souls,,🙏🏽
Well, The best thing to do in that situation was to ignore the question instead of answering it... Mr put the steak back on the plate after hearing its price.
Especially in today's time when pakistan is going through such a catastrophic natural disaster
🙏🏽‼️😂
They have a nuclear programme. They are not poor but it's how the government spends its money and keeps a large amount of people poorly educated
These videos put me in a better mood, and remind me to be grateful for all that we have here in the U.S. I didn't realize some of the stuff we have every day was so rare for others. Complacency. This channel teaches to have a lot of gratitude.
You eat tomahawk ribeyes every day?
Who eats tomahawk everyday? I've never had one. Can't bring myself to pay that much for a steak yet.
Me 2
Ya tomahawk steaks is just self indulgent
My first video of the day.
Reminding me to be grateful. Reminding me that in this world, there are beautiful people close and far.
I'm going to start my morning with these most wonderful people everyday, instead of the news.
The Markles and local crime can wait til after I get a dose of Love from these lovely most humble Gentlemen.
Much love from California ❤❤❤
This is easily the most wholesome RUclips channel. I love it. It makes me want to go and try some of their dishes too. Much love from Ireland
i see the producer snuck in a bite for himself! lol i would be doing the same thing
That was sneaky and hilarious!
Yeah, I said 'I saw what you did there'.
dont share forks :(
@@dgh25 oh, no! How utterly life threatening!
@@cee8mee Oh im sorry that you are from the uneducated part of the world. Must be hard.
The steaks are huge! But those knives are not steak knives, and these fellows are already struggling with fork and knife. Steak knives are sharper, and usually serrated.
Also, for Mr. Rana it’s grilled not steamed.
My Canadian pride is thrilled that they all called it a hockey stick! Love this video, as always!
They were referring to the fieldhockey stick, since it´s one of the biggest sports in Pakistan
I was going to say he most likely meant field hockey but alas someone else beat me 😆
Eh?... lol
Field hockey is big in south asia. Its the national game for India
Field hockey is the national sport of Pakistan. They also had a player 'Sohail Abbas' who holds the record for most goals in International Field Hockey(348). First and only field hockey player to score 300 goals. Fastest to 100 goals. Fastest to 200 goals. He has scored one double hat trick and 21 hat tricks: a record unmatched in the history of international field hockey.
Overall top scorer of the 2004 Olympics with 11 goals.
Joint overall top scorer of the 2002 World Cup with 10 goals.
As a Midwestern American, it's great to see the same level of enjoyment on the other side of the world.
we can learn so much from these men.....so humble, so appreciative of things we take for granted '') a joy to see them smile
Agreed 100%
Not me
I'd smile like a Cheshire cat if I'd been served rib eye steak!
It is in the u.s aswell 80 percent of the country cannot afford $100 steak for one person.
@@kevincrosby1760 bro 8000 rupees is nearly 100 bucks ...
@@memnoch9418 I think you mixed up the Indian rupee with the Pakistani rupee! 8000 Pakistani rupees are about 34-36 dollars
@@memnoch9418 I'll admit that $100 is what the wife and I spend for a nice dinner for BOTH of us.
However, please see my other post where I explain your currency conversion error.
“Did he send me a sword to fight with?” Best line in the video 😂😂 absolutely love these guys
😂😂
Love seeing these men awesome shows us we’re all human I love how nice and spiritually they are
Tribal People Try needs to be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize after reading some of the comments here. It’s interesting what a little enlightenment of other cultures can do for people’s beliefs and perceptions. The cast of Tribal People Try are absolutely the best ambassadors for human relations I have ever seen. Honest with no avarice or artifice. WYSIWYG and isn’t that in itself so refreshing. Can’t believe RUclips suspended the channel a while back, now what kind of BS is that? Shame on RUclips. Glad TPT is back! ❤❤❤❤❤ We love all of you.
The only thing that made me happier than the video was reading the comments of like minded people like myself who realize the error of what we where taught about these people....My dad did 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and had absolutely nothing but great stories about the local people.
I've been watching this channel for so long, Its been a true pleasure to experience all of these great things with the villagers! Their joy is my joy as well and I feel like they are my family! I love them
My God if you understand them it makes it 100x better 😂❤ much love and God bless fellow villagers🙏🏽. Waheguru
Panjabi Zindabad 😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣I was dying laughing when they told Mr. Chaundery the price of the meat cut!! 😂😂🤣🤣
He had to put it back down on the plate ! 😂😂😂 his reactions are priceless
He’s so sweet and innocent
Being a fan of this particular dish myself, I’m so glad these gentlemen got to enjoy one also !!! Blessings to all and may everyone stay safe and healthy out there.
I love that some of them used their hands. GET IN THERE AND ENJOY IT!!
8:13 "It is so delicious that I have forgotten about all the other things." Spoken like a true American 😂
If I was served rib steak this way, I would eat it by holding the rib. Eat with your hands guys. It will taste even better!👌👌👌👌
I was thinking the same thing. Pick up that rib and tear into the steak.
Watching Raffique finally dive in and bite it off the bone was the best part!

It wasn't a tomahawk
I would prefer a steak knife, nicely cut meat 💯 butter knife is blehh, but hands is better than butter knife for eating steak.
I am smiling so much watching them eat that huge steak. I could never eat that whole rib, but I also would savor every bite of what I could eat. Have fun you all.

Love this programme, these people are so sweet and real foodies . Looking forward for more .❤As a Punjabi i can totally understand the language and appreciate the proceedings .
There gentlemen give me great joy. Please inform them that since I grew up without a father, they are teaching me the way of the father in his absence.
With much love
I have never seen these guys so happy. 👍
5:07 .... Love it!
First time in a while I've seen an off camera guy take a bite of food!!
Looks *SO* delicious.....Yum-O!
Love how they were like - leave me alone and let me eat this lol

That's what I was thinking too - Just STFU and eat it already! 🤣😂
That assistant stole a bite. 😂 LOL ..he couldn't help it! Thank you for this video...I LOVE IT!!!
If you noticed, Mr Chaudrey didn't even blink when the assistant took the first bite. Sharing is as natural as breathing for them
Im just amazed with the views how the whole world came together that was best part of this video. These are our tribe people who have golden heart. Lets spread peace around the world from😊 here
How wonderful that they are enjoying it so much...not to mention how impressed they are with its size. Very nice gift!
Thank you for continually blessing us with these precious men.
the look on his face when he told him how expensive it was, lmao
he put it right back down on the plate too 😂
i'm impressed they got it at that price (under $40) considering it must have been imported.
@@cargumdeu there are butchers in Pakistan who would have cut this

I can’t even finish watching this without commenting on how nice it is to see them enjoying a big ol steak the giggles the smacking this is just too good😂😂😂😂😂
Wow! I have never had one of those, but have had other steaks. What an experience for them. Kudos to the folks who sent it!
They are FANTASTIC. Pricy even in the States, but worth every penny, and do NOT over cook it
@@nunya2954 I find medium well to be a good choice. I used to eat well done steak but it lost its appeal to me over the years as it just tastes burnt! I don’t pay good money for burnt food! lol.
@@nunya2954 Exactly. I prefer my steak somewhere between "Medium-Rare" and "still moving".
That is an excellent price for that cut of steak. Many places sell them from around $50 - $100+ USD, uncooked. (11,095 - 22,195 +PKR)
That was a delicious looking meal.
@@Meer101 And that’s what makes this so special for these men.
It's just an overpriced ribeye.
@@michaelsexton8885Agreed, you are paying for way too much bone. tbh, I prefer rib cap over rib eye.
I'm loving this!!! These gentlemen are fantastic!!! They almost feel guilty for not feeding more people with that much food...but they quickly get over it and enjoy it.
Such an honor to see them appreciate things from my country and culture like this, the Apple pie, and cheese cake. Although I'm American I've never tried catfish before, I'll have to get some soon.
Thank you so much for making these videos!
I can't stop smiling at their reactions! It warms the heart seeing how much they're enjoying their steak!😊😊😊😊😊
I want these guys to move to America, live in the same house, and have a sitcom 😀
Their reactions are precious. I can just imagine how it was to taste this steak for the very first time.
I love this RUclips channel. 💕❤️💕
I just LOVE these guys, especially Chaudhary. He is so sweet and appreciative, always. Adorable.
Yes Mr. Chaudhary, we all feel that way after we start eating a good steak 😂 "now do not interfere and let me enjoy this" I love these guys

I found myself smiling all the way through this and making the same faces as Mr. Chauffeur when he was surprised by the price. I love these videos. I love that there are still people in the world that appreciate everything they get.
The way Chaudery slowly set the steak down when he found out how expensive it was 😂😂
It would be similar to looking at and holding a vase in someone's house and them telling you that it's an antique. It would be put back in its place very quickly.
Yes! He was in shock, LOL!
Man I have never seen anybody just joyfully thank God over and over just out of appreciation that a piece of steak was intended for one person and it was all theirs to have to themselves. I wish I can become more grateful like this. My outlook on life is “glass half empty”
The send off with that salute and his well wishes for god to be with us are so likeable, these guys are charming
I'd send my kids to there homeland in a foreign exchange program in less than a heart beat
The sheer humility they radiate alone is enough to set my kid for life much less the education
Thankyou and Most Welcome from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤️
Gul Shur, absolutely nailing the way to eat this made me smile.

These guys are awesome, their whole attitude is appreciation
well guys, welcome to the elite. Im a 60 year old American and I have never eaten such a meal! A beef rib, a New York Strip, a Ribeye and a T-bone all at the same time.... one of these days. Oh, and a prime rib too!
What are you talking about the meat closest to the rib bone is the best.

The most beautiful video I've seen in quite some time! Thanks!
We in the west need reminded how spoiled we are, and appreciate the life we're given! Praise God
. Send some of that Rib Streak meal over here. Looks delicious. 👏🏽👏🏽
Looks like they've cooked it well. They could have told them to pour the sauce over the meat and potatoes.
