Russell is gorgeous! We don't get the fawn coloured greys where I am in the UK. I have a beautiful big black boy. They are more common here and some Brindles. They're all beauful of course. I'd be a foster fail, but I only have room for one.
He's a lovely boy! We currently have our second greyhound.. we sadly lost our 1st to cancer in March, which completely broke me, so I know how you feel. Personally I like the idea of owning 1 greyhound and having another as a foster as you don't have the commitment of owning 2 dogs plus it allows you to meet different greyhounds and learn about different personalities.. but at the end of day do what's right for you.. adopt again if/when your ready 🙂
Thank you for caring for Russell, he is so cute! I'm in New Zealand (we are like Australia's little sister haha). I hope you are all ready to stay safe from Hurricane Helene - I am sure you are. Please update us on Russell and the storm aftermath when you can. Lots of love from NZ's many islands.
Thank you! We have evacuated to Orlando during the hurricane and have Russell nice and safe with us. I am making a video about the experience so hope to post that soon.
Hi Steph!! Russell is very sweet….i have a girl, Sasha, from Australia. She is 5 years and I’ve had her since February 2024. I often ask her if she misses Australia!! Thank you for your generosity to lovely greyhounds. ❤️from Jean.
We foster failed on our second one and she's from Australia too. We had zero intention of keeping her but unfortunately our boy got osteo shortly after we started fostering her. She helped us heal our broken hearts and wormed her way into ours at the same time! She also has the same name as my late gma, Louise! It must've been fate!
Russell is scrumptious! America is leaps and bounds ahead of Australia, you've shut down all the dog racing tracks AND take on doggos where that hasn't happened yet, so you're showing the rest of the world how its done. Australian dog racing is really just propped up by international betting agencies now, people in the industry are getting out due to declining profits, but somehow we still have over 60 tracks, twice that of the next largest market in the UK. Anyway, be safe, you're doing an amazing job!!
I LOVE Russell! He acts just like our Happy Harvey did
What a lovely crouton, your vids make me wanna move to florida to live out my days rescuing greys

I had a fawn from Ireland in the spring. She was so sweet! But doesn't matter the color, they are all the best!
Russell is adorable! Those ears!!
