I recently started watching your videos, and I cant get enough of them. You actually helped me make my decison to buy the Bay ST (bundle package) and a few extra wise accessories you list on your link. I cant wait to get into Kayaking. Your videos are also shot and edited very well. Great job!

Great review! What I take away from this is the Oru is in the long run a flimsy product not designed to last in constant use, its overpriced as to make up for replacements which the manufacturer passes off as good customer service. I believe they replace only a few as most buyers won't be using them that much so in the long run they profit. So good business model, poor product.

such a great list . all the things you said are not game changers for most people who are thinking about getting one of these kayaks except for , wow yes they will wear out in the folds after some use and wear and tear . perfect for people with transportation and storage issues . Thanks for video. Are you able to pump up SUP fully with the ryobi high volume hose? Or do you have to switch to the high pressure hose halfway? Thanks

Just an FYI to everyone. If you set your psi to 40. The pump will work quicker, keep in mind you must keep an eye on the climbing pressure as to not go over your max rated pressure. Once you're closer to 15, just pause and reset to 15psi and let it top up in a matter of seconds vs minutes. Cheers.

Bought Lake model for $450 shipped during July 4th sale week, which included $50 discounts for new customer and free pedals. Like the katak, but kind of worried about how much kayak body bends when someone is sitting in it. Will see.

Thank you for your informative videos. Just bought my first ORU, I currently own 2 AdvancedFrame inflatables, tandem and a single. They have done nicely but the single came pre-ripped and i had to repair myself due to terrible customer service (I will NEVER purchase another), and the tandem is much heavier and more time-consuming than I like. So after years of saving and researching I picked the Bay ST. Really excited to try it out next weekend...

how did the strap pieces hold up, my regular one, one of them broke

Attached through the back slits of my seat backrest is the strap that connects to the updated seat clasp, but there is also a bungee with hooks on both sides. What is the bungee with hooks for?

Regarding Upper Back Support: Do you think the Lake Plus seat would fit in a Lake base model? The back support is lacking in the base model as you know. Also do you think something like the GCI Outdoor SitBacker Adjustable Canoe Seat with Back Support would fit and work out in the base model?

I have had 2 Greys and we only have one left and she's almost 11. UGH! I absolutely adore this breed and wish I could have 50 of them. I've had many different breeds of dogs in my life but they are my favorite! There is just something so unique and precious about them...they are a bit needy and high-maintenance but worth every single minute of disruption and cost. When we take them into Lowe's and Home Depot, the customers usually always ask, "Omg, is that really a Greyhound?" We say, "Yes!" They'll say, "We've never seen one in real life. They are so beautiful." We get this comment all the time and I think it's so cute.

Great review to help people decide which Oru to choose. The size of the paddler and water you hope to use it on are the key decisions to help someone decide. My wife and I bought the Inlet and are very happy with that decision. Thanks.

I have a one inch split in a fold on the bottom of boat. ORU recommended TUff Tape. No instructions from ORU how to use Tuff Tape??>

Thanks for the review, I really wish someone at Paddle Logger would have a social media presence, tutorials, guidance. There is like nothing out there that you can find easily. I can find 10k videos on how to use a qtip but zero on Paddle Logger.. frustrating

I really like the Inlet, but at 6'4", I think my only choices are the Bay LT or the Haven TT

yea size makes alot of difference. If i had the option to try them all i probably would have went for either the Coast of the Haven. as the Bay ST i got is mostly great but i'm 177tall and i got extra large feet.. and my feet dont fit well in it. so i would have either gone for the Coast as its bigger. or sacrifice the closed and smooth part and go for a double seater so i could take someone else with me whilst garanteing my feet fit.
