Wow, that looked so fun!! I wasn't able to kayak this year due a health issue & hopefully next year I will be able to take my kayak out on Lake Erie in N.E. Ohio.
Wow I live in Connecticut so cool to see you in my neck of the woods. One of my favorite paddling spots here is the Mattabassett River launching from next to a Dunkin' Donuts that leaves you on a chill side of the Connecticut River. Enjoy the cooler weather and have fun!
Ohhh what part of CT were you in? My partner lives in CT and I’ve paddled on the Mansfield Hollow Lake and also drove up to Providence and did a paddle in the city.
I live and kayak (most recently since 2022 in an Oru, before that in a fiberglass) in the northeast, and guess what? No gators ever, lol! Check out the Adirondack lakes and the 1000 Islands in New York sometime!
