This coming from someone who plays games like Smash and Soulcalibur: I mean, you kind of do. When reading an opponent after they say, dash, there are several things the can do. They could cancel into an attack, they could jump, they could be ready for a parry or a jab you may throw out. You aren't exactly reading, but taking multiple outcomes into account, and basing your decision on what would be the most effective thing they could do in that moment, and doing the best counter/response to it. BUT I suppose that only goes for opponents who are actually any good at the game or have the basic instincts. Spacing helps a ton, something phil has no clue about as he just throws out random shit and hope it sticks. Yeah phil is average, but give me a few days against a Master level player looking to help me improve, like I did with soulcalibur and Smash and I would wipe the floor with phil in SF. A game I have never played. Sorry for the long response, doubt many will read it. That Rya at around the 24:00 mark made me chuckle. The confidence he had saying "goodbye .. once you break the pattern they dont know what to do" followed by him losing is so sweet. Also, though I dont play SF6, if it's such a common pattern play that means you could learn how to counter it. I used to play a lot of Fifa and in one of them headers just always seemed to go in, so people learnt that instead of allowing players to cross they just let the players go inside into traffic. Also, though I dont play SF6, if it's such a common pattern play that means you could learn how to counter it. I used to play a lot of Fifa and in one of them headers just always seemed to go in, so people learnt that instead of allowing players to cross they just let the players go inside into traffic. He doesn't learn and when he gets beat there's always an excuse.

For a guy using blanka and hinda, the two scrubbiest characters, he sure is complaining like he puts so much effort on them. All he does is spamming headbutts and balls, but you know "he is good at fighting games!". He has played over 3000 matches and he still doesn't know you can't do any drive moves including parries in burnout. That's the most basic knowledge about the new drive system, but he never calculates his drive gauges. He just mashes like a real noob and complains about his moves don't come out when he is in burnout. It's just so dumb when you listen to his stupid excuses!
