I was trying to walk around one time while playing VR, tripped on something and rotated to land on my back. My head barely missed a dresser and I just ended up landing on the floor loud as hell. My wife thought I'd fallen down the stairs or something
I subconsciously have memorized my room layout, (bed, dresser, closet, mirror, desk, dumbbells, and chair) the worst thing that has happened is me hitting my hand on my fan or accidentally punching my blinds/ mirror/ glass cup on the table that had been there for 2 weeks and keep on forgetting about and closet door, BUT i don’t understand why people run with the VR headset, because there are thumb joy sticks that help you run and look around
I’ve never played VR games so it’s challenging for me to understand how people can become so immersed in these scenarios but I feel like VR treadmills are definitely a necessity 😅
It’s nothing special, I went on the oculus (newer version) without that treadmill and a good controller set up to be honest it’s not the greatest. I think if your gonna do VR gaming it should be full out Immersive with all the deck out tech

I have a quest 2. Anyine who uses it the first time is required, by me, to play the tutorial, and i habe it set up so that if you leave the designated zone, the game pauses and the headset turns on passthrough. Plus radar mode in game so they can see anyone or anything moved into the zone.
I ounce hit my lamp and got glass embedded in my fingers and the doctor did not want to take them out because he said it would do more damage taking them out vs the body pushing it out on its own … still waiting for that
I used to play vr all the time and one time I was playing in my room (it’s in the basement) and there is a metal support beam on the ceiling and I went to “catch” something high up and smashed my hand and broke my finger on it. It was a funny but painful moment

I have *5 BOYS* and I will admit we have lost about 3 tvs in the last year alone. My 10yr Olds tv is broke and now he can only use it with the VR to see anything. Consequences. Why couldn't I just have girls and deal with makeup staining? 😂
