My grandma's cat Fang did this in the late 40's when she moved to Canada except he was up front with the pilot causing absolute chaos. The plane she was on wasn't really equipped to deal with animals so they had him in a cage in the cockpit. His name was Fang because my grandmother (extremely posh english 92 year old, late teens at the time) thought, and I quote, "he was far too ugly to be adopted by anyone". She loved him dearly, he lived a long happy life, and she's spent her entire life taking care of animals; including a fleet of feral cats that got named, neutered, vaccinated, let inside, and fed warmed up food thrice daily and several dozen raccoons that also had their own feeding schedule (because they kept stealing from the cats)
I love this story! I had a sweet ex-feral cat who was officially named Sheba but his nickname was Fang and that’s what he responded to most often. He was truly my soulmate in 4 legged form lol
They were short a stewardess and this cat jumped into action to make sure that everyone was strapped in properly. Just don't ask for milk, he will only bring you CoffeeMate.
Poor kitty is definitely looking for his owners. Ran away without a plan like me at 5years old. Decided I had enough, got my book bag filled with dolls, went up the street then remembered I was in a bathing suit with no shoes and no money and returned home in less than 5 minutes😂 Kitty is like “no one told me this plane was cashless and to download the entertainment app before takeoff. Mom!”
Today your parents would be turned in! When I was 5 in the 70s, my dad let me ride in the trunk of the car from the grocery store to home, which was 1 mile. It was a two lane parkway. I had asked him if I could ride in the trunk and loved it. We did so many dangerous things as Gen X and prior and came out unscathed. 🙂
Beautiful cat. I hope there wasn't anyone allergic to cats on that flight. My son didn't have to be near a cat, just near a cat person, and his face would swell until his eyelids flipped inside out. Let me not forget the wheezing. This would have been a disaster for him. I'm glad there's no report of an allergic reaction in this case. ☺️
Only better reason I can think of is when it's too hot for takeoff/landing (the pavement would destroy the plane tires). A cat running around the cabin sounds like a terrible reason, since it probably should have remained in its carrier.
Kitty was simply exploring his new environment. Not only did kitty not stay on the floor, but it somehow made it’s way to the top of a seat for a better view. 🐈
Have to admit That this cat is a lot more better behaved than these grown passengers that and the one passenger is trying to calm her down that was sweet
Okay folks bear with the story, wait for it. This happened to me 45 years ago, a.k.a 1800's. I am old now. You know whose cat it was? Mine. The flight it was mine as well, as a flight attendant. Forgive me as we were called stewardesses then. While we were on a short layover in Chicago we were required to have a hotel room for the 6 hours we were there & as I was checking in black kitten that looked about 6 months old in an airport's nice hotel. It came straighten the door didn't rush and acted like it was going to it's room on the first floor. It didn't waver it didn't look around. I said to the room clerk checking me in checking me in, "beautiful cat". It was a beautiful pure black domestic short hair. Body type of a Burmese. Of course the clerk said that she would let it out and I said no I'll take it and I insured them that the room would be ok when I left 6 hours later. Forward to the airport where I got a kennel, and put her in the very last area underneath on a 737. I've done this for passengers regularly as a crew member, helping them with their on board pets. The animal getting out and walking down the center Isle of an aircraft has only happened once in my career and this was the only time. I get a ring on the call button across from the coach galley I was working. "Stewardess there's a cat walking down the aisle" I peeked out since I knew there were no passenger cats on the plane that day and said oh my goodness and rushed down the aisle and pick 'Shay' up. Of course who doesn't recognize a stone cold black cat walking straight down the center aisle of an aircraft. I quickly picked up the cat got it in the kennel again and secured it again , quietly telling those near the galley I had just found it while on layover. You need to remember that crew boards the aircraft early and prepares the cabin so the captain always knows everything about who's on that flight two legged and four legged. Thinking back on it now I'm glad we were in the air, it might have been too much for some passengers and they may have disembarked the plane. Black cat lol. Very true story, thanks for the memory of a very beloved cat who lived to the gripe old age of 18.

Bless her ❤️ your grandma is/was the BEST!
@@bamdealwithit...474 Yeah she is lol, she got a PHD from Stanford when she was raising two kids full time. Absolute badass
I want to be like your granny ❤
I love this story! I had a sweet ex-feral cat who was officially named Sheba but his nickname was Fang and that’s what he responded to most often. He was truly my soulmate in 4 legged form lol
Blessings to those who adopt the "too ugly to be adopted" pets! So kind of her to help the feral ones out too
Beautiful cat bengal looks like
They were short a stewardess and this cat jumped into action to make sure that everyone was strapped in properly. Just don't ask for milk, he will only bring you CoffeeMate.
Such a well behaved kitty. And, kudos to the person petting her.

Mom!”
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Today your parents would be turned in!
When I was 5 in the 70s, my dad let me ride in the trunk of the car from the grocery store to home, which was 1 mile. It was a two lane parkway. I had asked him if I could ride in the trunk and loved it. We did so many dangerous things as Gen X and prior and came out unscathed. 🙂
My son stood out in the driveway with a sign that read 'Free Kid' grateful but not shocked that no one took him home
It doesn’t look like to be a ordinary cat breed it looks like a savannah cat a mix of a African serval and a domestic cat
@@SugaCxbe it's not a savannah. It's a bengal. They're also a special hybrid breed but far far less wild than savannahs
I can't think of a better reason for a delayed flight! That kitty is adorable! 🥰🥰
Yes, it was certainly more pleasant than a Karen having a fit.
Or a screaming toddler.
Only better reason I can think of is when it's too hot for takeoff/landing (the pavement would destroy the plane tires).
A cat running around the cabin sounds like a terrible reason, since it probably should have remained in its carrier.
The cat was checking its domain
Their domain consists of everywhere
That cat is surprisingly calm for being in a new place with a bunch of new people and loud noises. bro was like "oh shoot what's up guys"
He’ was Alert . Don’t know what to do! He was thinking of jumping or not.
He was definitely nervous.
He was like 👁👄👁
Hopefully, it didn't 💩! 💩 is the first thing they do when scared...
Kitty was simply exploring his new environment.
Not only did kitty not stay on the floor, but it somehow made it’s way to the top of a seat for a better view. 🐈
Aww sweet baby was looking for their owner 🥺
The person petting the cat is so gentle ❤
I love that beautiful baby kitty cat!
Not gonna lie, it's nice to see a different airline delay than someone screaming about masks or their seat arrangement
Have to admit That this cat is a lot more better behaved than these grown passengers that and the one passenger is trying to calm her down that was sweet
I can imagine the owner behind embarrassed, asking the person next to them, "who's cat is that?" 😂
Yeah, must’ve been *beyond* embarrassed! 😬🙄☺️
😂😂😂
Such a beautiful kitty😊
"This flight isn't taking off until I receive my dinner!"
-cat probably
Poor Garfield for once actually worried if he lost his lousy owner for real this time.
That’s a sweet story! Shay sounds like she was the embodiment of ‘cats doing whatever they want’
U got too much free time.
