I hate how they abandoned mcc so much man.. So friggin much.. If they didn't cancel the 12season idea.. We could be playing on the Halo online maps on matchmaking.. Damn it.

Man, I'd love to see continued support for MCC. Seeing these maps finished and thrown into matchmaking would make me plain giddy.

It's neat they refer to crows nest as a ww1 instalation in the sewer map, it's implied to be old but I never assumed it was that old
Halo 3 definitely needed more dev made BTB maps, shame they never released more.
Desperately needs more BTB heavies maps for vehicles
It needs a map like 3x the size of sand trap honestly halo 3 maps are tiny

that sewer reminds me of Star Wars Shadows of the Empire
The facility up on shaft was a Constructor Sentinel, the shape is very similar to one.
Constructors are the tiny ones
farm is also in a halo 3 build actually im pretty sure, pretty sure before standoff, and they reused the buildings for standoff, if i remember right, i think it also went by the name "spartan farm"

If I'm not mistaken that floating base on the last map is similar to the Sentinel Factory we see blowing up in H2

The map at 5:00 looks like the map from halo 2 anniversary there’s a similar map added to that and yeah it was kinda made smaller i think?

In halo 4 on the mission forerunner , who wins the battle when the covenant and t-rex hand aliens (Prometheans) are fighting if you don’t do anything?
Idk about lower difficulties but from my playthrough on solo legendary I can tell you Promethians make the Covenant look like a joke

The last maps top structure is a strato-sentinel, it says in the halo way point docs and has some concept art for it

These maps need some obvious graphical and textural polishing and some fixes to be matchmaking ready. I bet they can be made entirely playable and ported over to xbox like some of the maps from that other halo 3 online beta in Russia.

Are these maps finished for the release? Or are they dropped as is?
These maps seem really cool. I can’t be the only one thinking these would look really good in infinite from forge. Especially blam mountain and pump house. Shaft might be too big but it would look amazing as well in infinite. Too bad the core games so bad 😂

I know you play on PC so KB/M is pretty standard but could you use a controller for the sped-up footage? The jerky twitchiness of mouse camera at double or more speed is... very nauseating...
