I bought this straight away and I can not stop playing with this drone grid...quite possibly the most inspiring instrument I have ever played! Thank you Spitfire...this Albion is just magical!
I think that with this latest ALBION we have reached the top in the world: the possibility with a single library to blend an orchestral approach to the electronic one in a futuristic key. Contemporary experimentation and tradition in a product that could revolutionize the composition for media from now on
So much texture & moody meandering character. Love that the hurdy gurdy was included, to add to the unusual combinations possible. What a wonderful jumping off point and way to break writer's block. Hurrah for randomize, to catapult us beyond our habits and experience. Thanks for the demo Homay!
This is the second Spitfire library I’ve purchased (I also have Studio Orchestra Professional), and I’m slowly coming to grips with its many components. This video is helpful, as I wasn’t really sure what the drone grid was all about. The library is very interesting as a whole. It has an intimate, soulful sound and is very inspiring. I highly recommend it to composers looking for something different.
Fantastic demo, thank you Lauren. I bought this library on release and only getting round to explore it now. I was intimidated at first but after watching this demo I realise, as you say yourself, it is not as complex as it first appears. Totally inspiring. Brilliant work. Thank you Team Spitfire!
I absolutely LOVE the textures... So inspiring... On my way to the Spitfire Store and then to my 401K account (lmbo)... j/k. Here I come, Spitfire! Thanks again HOMAY
These Sounds are awesome. And i like the chords you play through the video. In the other videos the guy played lots of Creepy Stuff. I enjoyed your Playing Style so much. Very inspiring!!! :)
Another great video as always Homay, thank you so much you explain things so clearly> This is certainly going on my wish list. Take care, look forward very much to more of your wonderful videos, be safe and healthy, best wishes Terry
fantastic instrument, it'll join my other Spitfire libraries. BUT. does anyone else wonder about the choice to organize the EVO grid with the lowest key areas at the TOP of the grid? non-intuitive for me, thought i've adjusted.
A couple of ways... simply save the patch within Kontakt (hit floppy disk name your file select your destination and then its done) or within your DAW. So in Logic save it as a channel strip preset.
Thank you so much for the video. How do you get the keyboard to show up at the bottom with the different colors? I also use Logic but I am a beginner with this DAW as I have used Cubase in the past but wanted to switch.
All of this reminds me so much of Peter Gabriel's Passion soundtrack. Also, I'm hopelessly in love with Homay. I suspect she's also made by Spitfire to lure me into buying everything they make. No way is she real 😜

Yeah I had albion one and tundra before this. Never expected such a complete library. And the moods. Oh my gods the moods.

Sounds like Dead can Dance
2:26 amazing what you can achieve with just one kontakt instrument!
Amazing composing as always….love it!!
I don't know how you guys do it but this is brilliant!
Brilliant review..well researched and understood …magnificent library 🙏🙏🏿🦄🎩👏👍
Great sounds - grid always seems the wrong way round to me - shouldn't C1 be at the bottom and G5 at the top?
Loving it... Such a cool library...
Video liked , before watched
I am going to put this out there right now. SA recordings Homay Schmitz edition sample instrument please
Yes! I don't know what they're waiting for! She needs her own sample library!
Great sounds!

She definitely demonstrated the sounds fine but how does the grid work ? How do you get the pegs vertical etc ?
Love it! Just bought it.
How about MPE?
Assolutamente oki Spettacolo !! (;=))
How do you save the grid if you like the random combination?

Nice!

It's in Kontakt, you can hide/show the keyboard within Kontakt (it's not a Logic function here)
