I use Albion ONE a lot.🙌🏻 Albion III Iceni has so much a deep worth. Tundra and NEO , they are so awesome to do smoother songs. But they are also sooo great.
@Pat Zumbrunn I've heard the sounds of it and they do sound amazing. But To be honest, I'm not a fan of kontakt that much. I only like the ones that are their own plugins
My summary: One: blockbuster, traditional orchestra, mainstream Colossus: like One but more aggressive Solstice: weird, folk instruments, vocals, niche Neo: soft, modern Uist: thriller orchestra Tundra: scandi, windy, strident, niche
My first major library was Albion One, bought several other spitfire libraries since. I still use Albion One all the time as I have gotten more familiar with it and know what the patches sound like. Good stuff. Given unlimited money I would own them all.
I love Neo, I wouldn't say it only suits scandi noir, darkness, thrillers etc. I've been using it in an electronic/indie/ambient project with jazz elements and it's amazing for that detailed string sound. Think cinematic orchestra, erased tapes releases etc
I love Albion One and use it regularly, but Colossus is so radical!!! The two together are AMAZING! 😊 PS - Thanks a lot... Now I need to get some more of the series 😂.
Creo que la pregunta esta mal formulada.... Cual Albion usar según el proyecto que tienes al frente? es lo que en realidad ocurre. por eso hay que tenerlos todos!
I have all the Albion series: Iceni-UIST-One-Tundra-Neo and Solstice but not Colossus and i love them But if Spitfire could update the few samples that have a looping problem, especially in Neo, which is a bank where the strings are very detailed When has Albion Colossus the home drive doesn't inspire me as much as Kontakt because there is no global bleed which is a problem for me and my type of setup But I repeat the Albion series is extraordinary
Same issue with NEO. Some Brass samples have weird glitch noises into them and there's no way to get rid of it. Ruins the whole experience and makes it unusable.
I am old enough to remember first one was called Albion not Albion 1. It was my first orchestral library. I thought it would be enough. I was wrong. Now I have almost all Albions.
And still in 2023, Spitfire does not develop HD UI for their products. The fact that they keep using Kontakt for their libraries, makes it a nightmare to run on a 2k or 4k monitor! Yes, Kontakt 7 brings a zoom option, but over 100% everything gets blurry, cause the libraries UI are not high definition. Why NI and Spitfire don't use their profits to start develop for higher screens resolutions?
Amazing, what can be reach with all the awesome libraries.🫶🏻🙌🏻 Have a couple of Albions Not all…. Just a invest in time. I love this video Thanx Also for the work you all do Spitfire Audio.
If you have any of the Albions already, what are your favourites?
I don't have it but one of my favorites is the albion colossus
Albion One still stands the test of time !

Perfect timing to make up our minds before the spring sale that I can't wait for 😁
I love these kind of videos! I don't have any Albion yet, but my favorite is Neo followed closely by Tundra and Solstice!

Are there any plans to update the Albion collection to the spitfire plugin?
Love Albion One and Solstice. Neo is on my list next. Would be great if you had collated packs from all the Albions!
It should be called “Albion Some” 😂
I love Neo, I wouldn't say it only suits scandi noir, darkness, thrillers etc. I've been using it in an electronic/indie/ambient project with jazz elements and it's amazing for that detailed string sound. Think cinematic orchestra, erased tapes releases etc
I agree. While most of Albion ideas are found with competitors, NEO is quite unique. I love it.
@spitfire Will the other albions also be atandalone libaries with a similar interface like the last albion?
Albion one, still amazing
Oliver, squire, do you have any plans to do a video breaking down your track A Night in Santa Theresa?
I love Albion One and use it regularly, but Colossus is so radical!!! The two together are AMAZING! 😊
PS - Thanks a lot... Now I need to get some more of the series 😂.
Solctice
Collossus
Tundra are my albion favourites
Which albion? Why orchestral tools of course.
Just purchased the entire Albion Collection, one of the best investments ever!
Best one to go with BBC SO Core?
Albion One is great if you want another orchestra, and it has ensembles (BBC does not). But it really depends on what you want :)
Tundra , Neo or Solstice since you got all the classic orchestral sound covered
Creo que la pregunta esta mal formulada.... Cual Albion usar según el proyecto que tienes al frente? es lo que en realidad ocurre. por eso hay que tenerlos todos!
Albion Colossus is my favorite
Really nice video Oliver…and I just noticed we have the same monitor lol…Good choice! 😊
I have Neo and Solstice. Combined with the Drama Toolkits, I don’t really need much more. I do have more …. But do I need it!? 🤔
I have all the Albion series: Iceni-UIST-One-Tundra-Neo and Solstice but not Colossus

I'd like a perfidious one.

All of them. I rest my case.
The original Albion 1 and 2 was the hands down the best sounding ones ever. There is no comparison
It depends as always. If you are a fan of nordic sound aesthetics you can completely forget your two libraries.
I wish you guys bring back legacy Albion 1 in its entirety 😢
They did!
I only have Albion 1. Time for another one. 😊

Good!
привет.где можно найти и скачать темплэиды для Albion One...спасибо и удачи.
Man, Solstice destroys them all to my ears
25:12 "from Scotland and the U.K." ...ummm...
Amazing, what can be reach with all the awesome libraries.🫶🏻🙌🏻
