I use the precision wads myself in 10 gauge and 12ga 3”. I use a bit higher charge as far as powder because the data is limited and too slow IMO for an effective shell. In fact, Alliant data is higher with steel powder and a precision wad in 10 gauge. I feel precision reloading was being too conservative when making the recipes.
It always amazes me how limited the entire product lines of shotshell reloaders and accessories/gadgets is. Compared to metallic cartridge reloading equipment, there is a huge untapped market out there.
@@livingintheprairie1517 Yep, the amount of adjustability in the machines is severely lacking too. You should be able to adjust from 2-3/4 to 3-1/2 without an act of congress being passed.
@@livingintheprairie1517 pull that wad guide on the lee press, the adjustment to go from 2.75" to 3" is the difference in the holes on the back side of the guide, I'd bet you could drill a hold slightly higher in the post to mount the guide for 3.5".
How donyou find your load data 100% new to shotshell reloading and I can't hardly find any data i bought Longshot powder with fiocchi 3in shell and ballistic performance i think steel shot wads
@leecummings635 Precision Reloading.com has date on there web page but they do not do longshot anymore it's to hot. But Ballistic Products does but they want you to buy the book. Those two companies are my go to.
Fiocchi is pronounced "Fee-OH-Key." Fiocchi Munizioni is one of Italy's largest and oldest manufacturers of ammunition.

I agree. And the mec equipment is not cheap. But Lee's reload all works great and cheap. To bad they don't have 10g and 12g 3 1/2.

What you are calling "shot" is actually powder or the propellant......the "shot" would be the 'T' shot you are using, or the projectile(s).........lol
You knew what I was talking about Russell. Sorry I'm not perfect like you. 🙂
Make sure you test them on some car 🚗 doors 🚪!😂
