Migrate was intended on being a single by Mariah and many people who helped make it. But the label decided not to. But there's a reason it's Mariahs only non single to chart on the top 100 cuz it's so good and was really relevant for the time.

She's even discussed singles that were released and how they were released from the first album up to Caution, and how record labels do things that she doesn't want. Crazy to think as big as she is and incredibly involved with all her music that she doesn't have more power over single selection. Also, even though for the record wasn't your favorite track, there is some clever lyricism in there. Look through the lyrics because she references several of her own songs in that song.

Damian Marley is Bob Marleys son and this album suffered collateral damage because she stopped promoting it, she canceled the tour, she had a miscarriage, she met Nick. Actually she went to the X Factor UK and performed I stay in love beautifully but you can see the pain in her eyes,this was just after the miscarriage and she sang Hero too, she thought it was her fault she had a miscarriage because she felt the pressure to look skinny and went to far at the gym and blah... She also received the MTV Japan Avant-garde artist award. She looked so happy, so comfortable, on stage singing I'll be loving you long time.
This era started off big with Touch My Body, but after the release of Byebye seems like she abandoned the promotion and all the hype around the album fizzled. The poor choices for follow up singles did not help too. Migrate and Im that Chick should’ve been singles not I’ll be Loving you long time and I Stay in Love. So many missed potential in this album. But at least she was happily in love with Nick during this time.
I feel like those songs could have earned more #1s, she only 1 #1 in that album which was "Touch My Body". "Obsessed" could have been #1 of MOIA, we should take it to #1 as her 20th.
