I love when Lukas opens his vocals, but there's got to be a way for him to do the gravel thing without doing damage, and he seems to have found it. He's done tons of music since this show, and some songs he's hitting high notes and opening up, and others he's very gravelly, nasal.
Rockstar Supernova was not the show for her, but Zayra is beautiful, and she has a really beautiful voice. Out of all the females in this reality, she was the one with the most charisma and she hits really high notes. Her only problem, she wasn't hard rock for an audience composed mainly by the fans of the icons who conformed this band. She was more pop-rock or alternative rock, she is better as a solo artist than on a band.
Ryan has been my favourite from week 1 and tonight was another amazing performance from him. Magni always performs well and tonight was no exception. Whether they're right for Supernova or not I don't know, but they're both great.

It shows artistic diversity and uniqueness, what I don't understand is, why didn't she do a rock song??? it's a rock music contest for a specific rock band. Gilby was right when he said that that wasn't a song for them to play. So in the end, the original song was a chance for her to show her own particular style to the world and not to win that competition. Now I wonder what Ryan would've done with that same opportunity.

Storm gave an exceptional performance. Given, there’s not infinite ways with that song. Maybe sped up more rocked or ether grunge’s it’s up, but apart from Gilby who has a more understanding of diversity after playing with GNR, it’s lost on the others. What’s ironic is Z can do a song absolutely nothing like rock or even in English and bc One has a crush on here she’s stayed when she rightfully should have been axed when he is a repeat of her less than lacking rendition of The Kinks. SMH Storm has versatility. No wonder SN didn’t go far, or any project TL has attempted apart from MC. Not being hateful as I’ve been a fan, but T’s more of a follower vs an innovative free thinker it seems. His drumming is superb for sure.

Storm didn't really want it, Patrice didn't have what it took and by mid-point, she knew it, Zayra was wisely laying the foundation for her solo career and Magni was conflicted. If the show wasn't committed to x amount of weeks, they would have cut to the chase earlier.

Was really excited that Mark Burnett saw his star power and released his Dark Horse - Live, which I still own. Ryan is amazing and thrilled he was part of the show. Supernova picked, maybe the fourth best as the winner but he was probably the right fit for the 5 minutes that they were a band.
Were supernova idiots ? Patrice and Josh played with Tommy, both ended in bottom 3. Jill played with Gilby & she got bashed for a terrible performance. Asking the rockers to choose a song just because one of them was playing along was idiotic. Here Zayra played the original and she was out the next week.. Supernova didn't get what the voting public wanted but the rockers got it.
I thought the band was pretty harsh on Storm. She did really well with that song. AFTER partying like a Rock Star in Las Vegas. She's been one of the strongest competitors since week one. I disagree with Dave and Supernova.

I like Lukas' arrangement on Hero. He sang in a higher register than he has in the first five weeks. Still has some of his growl, but that growl makes him unique, and it's something I love about him. I'm a Nickelback fan as well as a Lukas Rossi fan. I'm Canadian. I support Canadian musicians. And not just Canadian. Daughtry is also one of my favourite bands. Of course, Hero is from the 2002 Spider-Man movie.

You know what's ironic? All the judges' band's lead singers have had awful live shows compared to how these contestants are performing. Axle, James, and especially Vince have sounded absolutely awful!!

Dilana is ridiculously overrated. Didn't like her originally, still don't. Lukas is unwatchable but thank goodness for Ryan, Toby & Storm. I'd still pay to see those 3 in a concert.
