I didn't dislike Ryan's take on I Alone, but I think these folks needed to be aware of what people did last season. Marty killed I Alone, and this just seemed kind of "meh" compared to what I remember Marty doing.
I absolutely respect Gilby for making that comment, that women do not have to be sexual to perform well. Bravo to him!! Today with so much based upon sexuality it's great to see a rock star look past that.
Despite that it was praised, I didn't really enjoy what Toby did with White Wedding. I think he is just too high energy for that song. I love when he does Rebel Yell later on in the season, though.
What is Lukas' deal this week? He's completely unenthusiastic about any of the other contestants. They all cheer and wave their arms and whatnot, and he just sits there. At least he stood for Storm!
Dilana was the best of the entire group. Clear to me the first time she sang. Lukas may have been a good singer but I never liked him personally didn't like his singing and couldn't stand his attitude. Dilana Goddess of Music been a huge fan of hers since this show first aired.
I don't think Jill knows who she is. She did good on first performance but she saw the attention Dilana got so next performance she tried to emulate her but it didn't work. The next one she saw the attention Z got for being sexy so she tried to emulate that but it was tacky. She's so talented but I only see her performing in cover bands.
Magni & Ryan are the best. In awe at who ended up winning cause he wasn't that good at all. He would sound way better if he wasn't so set on destroying his voice.
SPOILER ALERT TO THOSE WATCHING THIS SERIES FOR THE FIRST TIME! I wish they had lasted longer than one album and tour. I mean, yeah I met Lukas, and probably wouldn't have ever met him if the band had stayed together, but at the same time, it's like, why spend all that time writing music and lyrics and looking for a lead singer if it's just gonna flop less than a year later? On the other hand, maybe if they had been successful, I wouldn't have ever met Lukas. Or if I did, it wouldn't have been as personal and special as it was. This coming from a woman who was 12 years old when this show was on. I was 13 when I met Lukas. Besides, I couldn't get into Lukas' show, so I stood outside in the cold all night and watched through the windows in the doors, and Lukas dedicated "It's All Love" to me at the end of the show. I know some people hate him, and I wish they could give me some concrete reasons instead of shit like "He looks like X" and "he sounds like Y" and "He's a jerk" and "He can't sing worth shit". I can tell you he bloody well can sing and can hit some serious notes. A lot of his behaviour in these Mansion episodes is probably amped up for show. It's not what he's really like. If he was as big a jerk as some people claim, would he have gone out of his way to acknowledge me when I stood outside in the freezing cold to watch him? Probably not.

Didn't like Luckas when this was on TV live, and watching it over again, still don't like him. Storm, Magni and Dilana were the best of the bunch.
