I watched this live when I was 10 years old and I still haven’t forgotten it. The guys in the band said that they didn’t pick her because Lucas made them sound more like a band and Dilana sounded like her own singer with the band backing her ... basically admitting that they didn’t pick her because they knew she would blow them out of the water. Well, they shot themselves in the foot with that decision because their album flopped and the show wasn’t renewed for another season, likely because everyone was pissed that they didn’t pick her. No shade to Lukas, he’s super talented, but he’s no Dilana.

I STILL say she should have won that competition, hands down. Dilana blew everyone else out of the water - I cannot even remember the other contestants' names, but her performances hold up right to the present day.
with myself being Canadian & Lukas being from Toronto,Ontario,Canada I must admit I was pulling for my fellow Canuck. but I think Lukas & this chick have tremendous stage presence. but Lukas won & I think it came down to the male ego personally, but I think she should have won though.
It was more about not wanting a woman in your band, a woman who you had no chance of fucking. They knew that Lucas could be a wingman. Dilana was way better than Lucas, and would have been picked if they were only thinking about performance.

THIS is why she should have won. The show was plagued by shite sexist judges. She was perfect with stage pretense, knew how to adapt her voice to ANY type of song, she COMMANDED the stage when she was up. Vibrato, strength, octave range... her voice was just about as good as you can get. Look at how she conveys herself while never losing the strength of her voice. She’s a fucking rock goddess. A shame they had to go for a mediocre man bc he was a man :/ no wonder there was no season 2.
good performance. Yes on example of this song one must conclude a somewhat limited vocal range (no pure soprano soaring to E6), but for this song that does not matter - its an angry protest song delivered by a fine rock voice.
I loved best the sounds she used inbetween each ending of "zombie", THAT was really perfect for the whole vibe of the song. I wasn't as thrilled about the first half of her performance though, felt a little too off and a little too rushed.
Good performer but her voice is not unique, it's too "screaming". Lucas was and was always the right choice. His voice is amazing and he alone can carry any band
So far, the best version of this song I've heard is Miley Cyrus. I'm a huge Lukas Rossi fan, LOL what do you want? Not saying Dilana did a bad job, just that Miley does the song better
It's 2019 and the only contestant I can remember from the show is her.... In the end... Dilana is truly the winner of the show.
