      Είσαι πολύ τυχερός φίλε. Αυτές οι εμπειρίες είναι εξαιρετικά σπάνιες και σημαντικές. Να είσαι πάντα καλά να λες στα παιδιά και τα εγγόνια σου για αυτή τη μεγάλη εμπειρία. Δεν έχει σημασία που ήταν για λίγα δευτερόλεπτα τηλεοπτικού χρόνου. Όλοι είστε κομμάτια αυτής της παρουσίασης που πέρασε στην ιστορία. Όποτε το βλέπω δακρύζω και ας το έχω δει δεκάδες φορές. No other country could stage an unforgettable, unmatched, and unbeatable Opening Ceremony than its Original Birth Country in Greece. The artistic section reminded us that Greece gave birth to human knowledge such as Math, Sciences, Sculpture, and the beauty of the human body.
      This should had been Athens 1996 instead of Atlanta 1996, which is totally forgettable despite being the Centennial Games.

    The most awaited broadcast. In my opinion, this has been the most beautiful, sublime and classic Olympic opening ceremony of all time. Only the Greeks had a wonderful time covering the field with water representing the Aegean Sea. Illuminate with fire the five Olympic rings in allusion to knowledge and creative awakening of man and unfold a huge Cycladic head in the middle of the water as a representation of the universal art of this ancient culture. In addition to retaining the label of the most expensive ceremony in history. Unofficial data mention that the production of the event by Dimitris Papaioannou cost a whopping $ 110 million. Those closest to that figure were those in Sochi and Beijing.

    • @marksnow7569
      @marksnow7569 4 года назад +2

      TBF, Salt Lake City did the Olympic Rings as flames emerging from the stadium surface (frozen rather than liquid water of course, for a Winter Olympics) just a couple of years earlier!

      @@marksnow7569 All Right. In fact, that was one of the most spectacular artistic segments in Salt Lake City 2002. I do not know if the producer of the Athens 2004 opening took it as a reference, (I do not doubt it was), however, for all the historical context that Greece has the fact that the main elements of the show have been water, fire and earth, with the unifying line of the nature of the human being, made this opening ceremony a majestic and incomparable event.
