- We wire up a Fuel Transfer Pump in a Cummins Ram 3500. We wanted the pump to be easily removable but still have the wiring look really good. We also control the power source for the pump wired into the cab so it requires the use of the ignition key and an auxiliary switch. By doing this we reduce the risk of fuel being stolen from the truck.

Great tip on wiring the battery-side connector plug so that it can't accidentally arc out on the truck frame! I would not have thought of that detail and would have had a 50-50 chance of making that mistake - thanks!

Couldn’t it have been ran through the stock Upfitter switches? Since you ran a relay. Were those 12 gauge wires that was on the relay? They looked small in the video.
It could be ran through the upfitter wiring if the truck was equipped with it. 14 gauge wiring was used.
what brand tank is that?
Fillrite I believe
To complicated.. gravity feed for me .
You can get gravity feed for pickups? Is the tank mounted higher or the hose comes out the bottom of the bed?
