    thanks for the video. How do you prevent the metal filings from getting into the fuel tank when you cut the pipe? thank you.

    Why don't you use rubber garment around the hose which the fuel line is going to for safety also why not use higher quality fuel line as braided. You could note accessory options for lockable caps to stop people from stealing. You did not talk about how the fuel will stop flowing when the tank is full not to overflow out the cap.

    Do you have any fuel gauges that can monitor how much gas you have in the aux tank

    Is the install the same for 2023 3500?

      The tank isn't vehicle specific, so the general procedure shown in the video would apply to most vehicles.

    What keeps the fuel over filling the main tank?

    • @etrailer
      @etrailer  5 месяцев назад

      There isn't anything built into the system to prevent that. You'd open that valve provided with the # DZ97960 connector kit, and observe the truck's gas gauge. When the fuel level approaches full, you'd then close the valve. Not a very sophisticated system, but it works. We hope that answers your question for you!

      Get an electric fuel pump for 30 bucks from oreillys, install it in line with a toggle switch. Fill on the fly. I just don’t know if the pump will let fluid pass while it is off.

      @@tommyweese5697 had this idea as well with a 12v low pressure fuel pump 4-7 psi. Was wondering same thing if the pump internally shuts off flow when electricity is turned off by aux switch.

    No vent?

      The DeeZee # DZ91752X Diesel fuel tank is vented through the fill cap. The cap will vent at 4 psi per DeeZee.
