Thank you! I have been teaching the bible and writing in my bible for decades. I have never seen or heard of "tip ins". You have effectively taught an 61 yr old woman something new. Bless you.
This is essentially what an Interleaved Bible is, it has one blank page between every Bible page. I could have picked one of those Bibles up years ago but thought what would I need a blank page between every Old Testament book. Well now I’m kicking myself for not getting one. Now they are more expensive, or at least for me, Canadian - that exchange rate is a killer for us, and we have no Christian Bookstores close by, so I’d have to have it shipped as well. So I add pages like this as well 😊.
I’m glad I’m not the only one that gets excited when something I just studied reappears. I feel like it’s God’s confirmation that I’m on the right path and doing the right thing!
What a wonderful and uplifting video, Kay! Your passion for diving into the Word of God and sharing it with others is truly inspiring. I appreciate your genuine approach to Bible journaling, allowing viewers to join you in exploring scripture without predetermined plans. Your insights into passages like Hebrews 12:1-2 are profound, and your practical examples of laying aside "weights" resonate deeply. Keep shining your light and sharing your love for God's Word-it's a beacon of hope and encouragement for all who watch. God bless you abundantly on your faith-filled journey! 🌟📖✨
Absolutely! Your comment captures the essence of Kay's video beautifully. I checked out your Bible reading videos too, and I love the clarity and quality. Blessings to you on your journey! 🙏✨
wonderful!!!!!!!! my friend and i have been studying Hebrews ---i like how the Amplified Bible puts light on Heb 12:2 Looking away from all that distracts us.....
At last, a real time bible study🫶 I don't know, Im just really into this kind of a video. I love how long it is and I am excited to be inspired and learn with you💓 Thank you for this
So happy you enjoy it! I love slowing down and just simply studying the word with you guys! So happy you are excited and inspired! I am so happy to have you here!
This is absolutely brilliant. Thank you SO much. You are truly a wonderful inspiration to me. This is one of the first Bible verses that I memorised years ago when I was an early Christian!
It was a bit longer to edit but I really enjoyed it and I’m happy that everyone seems to be enjoying it as well! I hope you found it helpful and that it answered your questions! Thanks for the suggestion!
@@CozyFaithWithKay no thank you for worling so hard on your videos and guiding us on how to have a better relationship with God and understand the bible!
Thank you for your reply ❤.I started listening to your Podcast also and really enjoyed it. It’s actually my first time listening to any podcast. I’m a cryer by nature and now menopause has really did me in so as empath I can feel how much you love the Lord and how much you want to share all his goodness. I need to hear a lot of what you share as a constant reminder that we are not needing to be perfect or conform to others and this world. Thank you for sharing. See you on Instagram.
I turned this on, not expecting to sit and do it with you. But now a big portion of my Saturday was spent pouring over these verses and I feel the satisfaction that that brings. Thank you for the unexpected study, God definitely put you in my feed at the right time ❤
Wow this is so cool! I am so happy that you were able to pour over His word with me! God is so awesome that way, always giving us exactly what we need when we need it!
I have been really feeling a need to do a bit of Bible study and Journaling and wanted to see how other people do it. And this was really nice to see. 😊
So happy you enjoyed! I would definitely say that if you have been feeling that way that could be the Holy Spirit nudging you to spend some time in the word! Go ahead and do it and just watch what God does ❤️🙏🏼
This was such a great Bible study and like you, I had already studied a little of this passage before doing this study with you. But this was such an on time word for me. I’m going to be meditating on this passage the entire week because of how much God spoke to me. Wow…
Please do more of these style of videos! They are so helpful! Also, what kind of paper is that where you’re writing your notes and do you just leave it in your Bible when you’re done? Never thought to do this!
Will do more for sure!! I explained briefly in the video but for me I just have this dollar store notepad that happened to have the perfect sized sheets for my size of Bible! Nothing crazy or special ☺️ and I make what’s called “tip ins”, I showed it briefly in the video but basically I line some glue along the edge of the paper and then stick it into the spine carefully! I love it because my notes are right there and accessible in my Bible!
Thank you for sharing your bible journaling journey. I struggle with opening my bible on a daily and this has helped me in so many ways. For one, I followed along and as if we were studying together. I totally understand how difficult it is to be a creator but I was wondering if you would consider doing a bible study follow along. Not sure if you have done so. New sub and would love to follow along with you to help me with my bible journaling journey and most importantly diving into the word. Struggling with my walk and need to find my way back to reading my bible. TFS 💜
I totally understand that, sometimes I still struggle opening it up too! It's the one, crazy amazing, overpowered tool we have to fight against the enemy so its ALWAYS going to be something that he attacks first. BUT Yay I am so happy that you enjoyed the study, means the world to me that you stayed and watched it through! I actually have a women's bible study group where I do live bible studies with me, you can just take a look at my Instagram, I have a post which outlines it! Comment on that and I'll add you to the group if you'd like! Other than that I have a few other videos that are bible journal with me style, I have a series through Ephesians that we are going through slowly 😊 and there will be many more in the future so don't worry about that 😉
New sub 🎉 Thank you for sharing - I’ve been doing similar I bought a study Bible end of last year and i’m so happy I made the investment- it has helped me so much understanding who people are etc 🤗 many blessings 😊
I second that! I’d like to know which Bible you are using also… thank you and may God continue to bless you faithful servant, daughter of the most high🙏🏽
Where did you get that bottle of glue for the tip-in? Do you find the extra pages stress the binding? I have issue with the reference part in the back of the study bible already coming loose. WOndering if I could use this glue to re-stick those pages in. It looks like you have more control over where the glue goes than a elmer's type of glue bottle
Hey! So it’s called the tombow mono glue and I got it at Walmart but you can get it on Amazon too! It’s a great glue for sure. There are two sides, one for really thin lines and control which I use for this and then there’s a larger brush tip side too. You could use the glue to stick them back in! You would just have to probably rip them out cleanly first then put this glue on the edge carefully and stick it in! This glue is definitely thicker and easier to control than Elmer’s!
First, it does stress the binding, maybe not as bad as if you add tip ins on the outside edges of the pages. (See How To Faith a Life, her Bible is huge and she had it rebound). If you haven’t done anything about gluing your loose pages back in you can google it, also think of having it done professionally. If you really like the Bible you have, you don’t want to do something that might make things worse.
As I listened I understood what you may have meant. Yes, reading aloud slowly through the scripture would have been better but since it was the first time Kay did a video like this maybe your comment will help for the next time.🥰
Hey! Happy you guys enjoyed the video! Definitely didn’t mean to be mumbling, I will try to get better at this for next time! This was a raw, real time example of how I figure things out which I guess isn’t always as loud or articulate as I’d like it to be but I hope that my explanations after being more quiet while reading or figuring something out ended up making up for it and you still understood! ☺️ thanks for the support and constructive criticism!
This was real time Bible Study, not prepared ahead of time, therefore no notes with her thoughts all put together and laid out. If she had taken the time to slowly read all those passages, and portions of commentaries out loud, this video would have been very, very long with a lot more editing to do. This gave a true example of how Bible study is really done. I’ve watched other videos of people doing this and they do their talking (can’t remember what it’s called) over the video, talking about what is happening in the video, so you don’t get the full feel of what really is happening or how long it can take. She did explain a little better as she got her thoughts together, after writing down her notes. Don’t be discouraged at the length and how long this is taking, if you don’t have this much time every time, you can still get a lot out of a 10 min study, just write one thought down and continue it later.

Its amazing when that happens! It's such a great example of God's still small voice because I feel like if we aren't paying attention we may miss it!
So good to see a young person doing deep study of Gods word. I start my day by reading and journaling His word. Have a blessed day.
Thankyou! Yes it’s the best way to start the day for sure!! God Bless! ❤️🙏🏼

Yay! Thanks for joining the Cozy Crew! So happy you made the investment into a Bible aswell! Tbh I think it’s the best purchase we could make!! 😊
I really enjoyed this lesson. Can I ask what bible you're using. The single column and font are perfect.
I second that! I’d like to know which Bible you are using also… thank you and may God continue to bless you faithful servant, daughter of the most high🙏🏽
It’s the she reads truth Bible! I agree it’s perfect space for me and I love all of the added notes for context and Inspiration!

Where did you buy your bible?🥺
I bought it at a Christian book store near me but it is available on Amazon too! Its called the She Reads Truth Bible!
What Bible translation do you use to study?
I use the CSB with my She reads truth Bible! But I have also studied a lot with NIV!
I SAW U AT THE CONCERT YESTERDAY HIII I ASKED ABT THE CLOWNS 🤗🤗😀😀😀
Ayy thanks for checking out my channel! Great to meet you yesterday! Hope you enjoyed the concert as much as I did!! 😊😊
Which iPad case is this?
Truly I’m not sure!! It came with it when I bought it second hand!
loved this, but if your doing a video with an actual Bible study, i would suggest not mumbling.
As I listened I understood what you may have meant. Yes, reading aloud slowly through the scripture would have been better but since it was the first time Kay did a video like this maybe your comment will help for the next time.🥰

No problem 😊❤️
