Hey, getting started with anything is such a big struggle, especially in the mornings. Getting myself in the right mood to spend time with God feels so daunting, mainly because I know it will take so much time. I genuinely appreciate the journey God is taking me on, and i know i need it and I’m grateful for it, but I’m also the kind of person who needs to read through a verse or a 30-minute sermon sometimes even twice, and then write down every word/ teachings literally even every word the preacher is saying. I have to do it to have peace with myself, like I’ve truly understood something. And sometimes i can't help but think "Oh my days, i do actually spend so much time?" It’s not that I want to study the Bible just so my day will go well, but if I don’t spend that time, my day actually won’t be as good. So, even if I start the day early, I end up trying to warm up for hours, and then there’s not enough time in the day for everything I want to do. Yeah, I don’t know if I’m just rambling, but yeah, that’s my struggle

I had not heard of BibleRef, and appreciated how you showed various aspects of each commentary site to help gain more insight into each verse. It’s really sad that we allow ourselves to become desensitized by music, movies, books and others. I was deeply convicted of this many years ago. It’s like any other sin; if we allow ourselves to be around it, it will effect us. Thank you for sharing your experience along with the remedy and reminding us that we must go to Him and His word for real change to happen. (Over and over again)💗

What kind of pen is your green one. I like a thicker pen to use especially in my Bible. Does it bleed through ?

I would honestly love it if we worked through the whole scripture plan from pinterest. I always pick my nails when I am anxious/stressed/worried. I am going to try to go through the scriptures from the pinterest list instead of picking my nails.

Amazing video! My favourite takeaway from this video was Jesus himself saying he cant do anything without his father, but right before he was saying he’s Gods son, making him equal to God, in which he still knows although he’s God, his position is, he’s the son & cannot do anything without his Father. Just as such, we as his disciples, with the objective of being Christlike /christminded, we too cannot do anything w/o our father

I have been kind of running away from doing what God said that I should do, mainly because of the fear of starting something and failing. Through your video, He showed me that I'm very good at trusting Him with the small things and not the big ones that He has given me and I'm embarrassed to say that. Right now, He has me in a place where I don't know what my next move is and it's been difficult to say the least. and you just gave me the solution, to trust in Him, that He knows the plans that He has for me and that He is with me during this time. May God continue to bless you. May His grace and peace be with you.

I loved this! I have been dealing with several situations and I am in a holding pattern, I am learning that I am be led to rest, and be more rooted in God, among other things. This is just what I needed to hear right now at this very moment! I also liked how this was like an in-depth devotional. It was an inspiring message with a mini lesson attached. Also never let your physical age make you feel like you need to add a disclaimer, you are truly a Titus 2 woman bringing up those who need help with their spiritual maturity!

I went through Genesis looking for Jesus and types and shadows so my Genesis is full of notes. I’m still finding and hearing about more. It set up a good mind set to continue through other books. Reminds me of the plagues you were talking about. If only we realized how exciting the Bible is and can be when we see what’s behind what on the surface seems to be a simple story.
