Cam sensor and or cam magnet, coil pack, spark plugs- Best are NGK 4306)and or spark plug wires, crank sensor. All those are most common problem. Coil pack shield is a must, helps a ton. Upgrade your ground wires as well, stock is not good too small and break -Head,Block,Battery.
@@quixilver09 DCR has a Nice cam Magnet+bolt, I'd do Cam sensor and magnet at same time. Crank sensor- best to remove starter, you can leave manifold attached. You can do all under car for crank sensor.. on jack stands. New sensors should go for 100k miles. O.E.M is best couldn't tell you what aftermarket, would be just as good. But Autozone, Pep Boys etc offer lifetime warranty.
A few suggestions for you: 1. Have you done a fuel pressure test? If so are you seeing a fuel pressure drop when this happens? - If yes, have you done the bottle neck fix? If yes what kind of fuel line did you use? I have had gates submersible fuel line develop cracks and pressure leaks on 3 occasions before I finally switched to radium engineering fuel lines. - Do you have a fuel pump rewire? - What type of fuel filter/fuel lines are you using for E85 Cheap filters cause restrictions and cheap lines will send debris to your injectors. - What type of ignition coil are you using? (They tend to go bad from heat & stock coils are preferred to MSD etc.) - What plugs and gap did your tuner recommend? There are a lot of possibilities here, but a turbo blanket on a stock td04 is over kill. The ignition coil shield works well though. Personally if all of that is good the tune may be suspect. AFRs ~ 11.6 is rich for E85. My stage 3 is @ 12.6 on 1025cc. Injector duty cycle also comes into play with your fuel pressure. Happy to help out if you have any questions I have many years working on SRT-4s and 3 years of ironing out E85 issues on the platform. P.S. if you don’t have one already do yourself a favor and order a BC fuel sender, even if you do the 03 mod it will stop sending your fuel level within a few months of E85. You can use the install to check your fuel lines for cracks as well.
Thanks for your reply! First off, I have a precision 5731 with a .63 AR. I did a fuel pressure test the last time we were having issues and it was dropping. Replaced fuel pump (which was new) with another 450 and it didn't do anything, replaced the regulator (which was new) and that fixed it. I would hope I'm still not having fuel delivery issues, but I haven't checked it yet. I have new FIC 1200's. Yes I have the bottle neck fix, he made a custom canister setup with the return line and all. Did the rewire, and the fuel lines are vibrant ethanol hose -6 . I just replaced the coil with OEM, 2 month old granetelli wires, along with NGK 4306 gapped at 0.26. The tuner (Nigel Alexander) said to try .020 just to see if it goes away which I haven't done yet.
Def gap the plugs first. I didn’t and ended up fouling 2 spark plugs and the respective coil packs. Wasn’t a huge issue as warranty covered it, just remove jb4 prior to taking it in. Looking forward to your future stinger vids!
I was having the same issue when it got hot and the intake mani gasket was leaking just a little it was intermittent just a suggestion but I replaced the gasket and haven’t had the issue yet
Ok good to know, I don’t have any crazy mods just Mopar stage 1, Mopar cat-back, Mopar cai, Mopar stage 3 coilovers, Mopar bov, and Hotchkis sway bars and only 77k miles
My entire fuel system out side of the tank is new. Custom canister, new pump, custom return system, new ethanol ready lines, new fuel rail, new regulator, new Injectors lol.
quiXilver09 yeh I don’t see plugs being you problem man. I’ve hit 30+ psi on .26 gap on a 5858 no problems. Have you tried to change spark plug wires? Slap a autozone set on and try it if not. Good chance it’s it

Cam sensor and crank sensor are the only things I haven't replaced lol. I use the NGK 4306. Coil pack shield should be here soon.

Keep up the good work on the srt
Cool I was waiting for an update on the Srt4. That Stinger is going to be insane....an extra 100 whp!?
There's Dyno charts to prove it!
To fix fuel pickup problem install a Holley Hydramat on your fuel pump.
Literally just did that thanks! Stay tuned for the latest video.

Yea I've been doing it on my SRT so I should be a pro by now lol

What's up Luke ,its been a long time .Keep doing your thang buddy
Yooo what up man! Will do buddy!
Are your plugs a step colder or?
Yup
I just put solid motor and trany mount on my srt4 and when I get on it it shakes/ vibrates pretty hard, any thoughts ?
That's what it's gonna do! Did someone remove the balance chain that you know of?
quiXilver09 not that I know of
Well just know that putting on solid motor mounts, everything is gonna shake and vibrate a lot more. It's normal.
Ok good to know, I don’t have any crazy mods just Mopar stage 1, Mopar cat-back, Mopar cai, Mopar stage 3 coilovers, Mopar bov, and Hotchkis sway bars and only 77k miles
You test your ethanol content right?stock ecu?
Nope lol, but I just filled up my tank with VP E85 from Sick Sideways and it still did it.
quiXilver09 dirty fuel filter...thank me later😂🤷🏻♂️
Brand new.
My entire fuel system out side of the tank is new. Custom canister, new pump, custom return system, new ethanol ready lines, new fuel rail, new regulator, new Injectors lol.
what plugs do you run?
NGK 4306
