The CX 50 is such a looker! I love looking at your walkaround shots of it. I’ve owned one for two years now. I can’t help but always look back at it when I’m getting out and walking away from it😊
Just test drive one today - a word of advice. If you are over 6 feet tall make sure you do a thorough test drive- I’m 6’6 and this car was very uncomfortable even with multiple tries at seat adjustments - is to bad as I really wanted to like it . I also noted the funny feeling in the middle of the seat you were describing…
Your height has nothing to do with the seat comfort. The seats are overall terrible if they are the same seats in the turbo meridian edition. I wanted to like this suv so much and still want to like it, but the seats are hard as a rock 🪨 🤦🏾♂️!
I have had my Premium Plus for almost 3 weeks and love it. The red interior is super sharp. So fun to drive! US doesn't have 360 camera which would have been nice to have.
I have one on order and should be getting it this month (In the Montreal area too, and yeah the slush and weather sucks!), GT trim like yours. Glad to hear that it handles well on these roads. You know what brand and make of winter tires were on it?
The reviewer is wrong. This vehicle is rated at 38 mpg = 6.19 liters per 100km. I get better efficiency in mine (I live in a much warmer climate in far west Texas), and my CX50 Hybrid gets me closer to 5.9 l per 100km. I drive smoothly around town (but not in granny mode 🙂)
Its a press car. They do short trips and idling alot. Thats why fuel economy is bad. But the more you drive it the better it gets. I have 7.4l per 100km in canadian winter.
On my 2024 Lariat hybrid I'm currently getting 6.0 l/100 kms now that the weather is cold (Toronto). This is up from 5.5 l/100 that it gets year round.
No problems here with the seats whatsoever. Not sure what all you snowflakes are talking about. Try driving a Rav 4 2022 hybrid with synthetic leather if you want to see what hard seats feel like.
Making a video, I would've thought a person would at least comb one's hair. Also, if you aren't man enough to grow a beard, at least shave off that patchy peach-fuzz. I like the Mazda though.
Also I am pretty sure it’s not a Toyota engine … and I read the hybrid system is designed by Toyota but Mazda just borrows the design and tech. But 99% sure it’s a Mazda engine not Toyota

Why US version doesn't have 360 camera or heated stealing wheel?
And rear heated seats and parking sensors. Idk either

Seat thong! 😂
Any compact suv for a tall driver/passenger is not exactly a good match, regardless of brand.
I mean, you are like less than 1% of the population being 6'6"

This one checks so many boxes, hoping it does very well !
I think we will see them everywhere soon!
Engines don't feel windchill.
Darker colors hide the way too big plastic cladding
9.2 l per 100 km is not very good for a hybrid! I get close to that with my 2021 Murano!
Yes, but remember you’re in the dead of winter right now up there, which is gonna suck up the gas mileage
@@eleanormassaro5195 50% increase in fuel consumption, if you accept the hybrid numbers, seems quite excessive. My Murano does not increase much.

9.3 l/100km is not good for a hybrid.

The engine is a Toyota engine and of course the CVT transmission. Everything else is Mazda
It's 100% Toyota even the shifter is Rav 4. I traded my 2022 Rav 4 Hybrid in for this to reset the odometer after hitting 103k miles with no hiccups.
100% Toyota drivetrain engine and transmission with many similar suspension parts. look at the Car care nut guy video on you tube for details
Actually an eCVT and the Toyota engine. Mazda is working on their own hybrid system, so stay tuned, but this is all Toyota.
Not only is it a Toyota engine but the factory oil filter even says Toyota on it.
unfortunately its a women car. I love it though.
It's not a car number 1. Number 2 it's not made for "women." What are you, 12?
@@FA-pk5wx looks to rugged to be a women’s car. The rav4 and especially honda crv are more for women
