And yes, I noticed the new multimeter from the very first second of this video :D Will you sell this laptop or you keep it for video editing ?
Great fix! I looked start of your first video of this and though scrap. For the price you paid, should name and shame the seller. At the start of each repair, you should name the seller and state the price.
This is not so easy to explain. Oversimplified there is a circuit in front of the charging controller which is responsible to control the voltage which comes from USB-C. To this cicuit belongs at least a PD-Controller, additional Mosfets and Overcurrent/voltage protection components. See also here: ruclips.net/video/khSUYQ11-lM/видео.html
That he "didn't touch it and must have happened earlier". Tbh, missing charger and SSD was actually mentioned somewhere hidden in the auction details. Almost impossible to find on mobile. In the end I gave up on this dispute, especially from the moment I noticed a chance to revive the device. So, whatever. :)

Nice repair! Great laptop, I had one. You can charge it over the USB C ports with a specific dell thunderbolt dock. It has 2 plugs on it.
