OMG Ben, that was awesome. I forgot to comment on the last video but it was great as well. It is so much better for me to process the information on the whiteboard and then to see you do it in the surf. I can feel myself improving already being able to put your ideas into practice out in the surf (after only three videos) - I can't thank you enough!!

First day surfing! Ben’s voice was in my head.
Was able to stand without falling 4 times of about 30 waves. Pretty happy with that.
    First lesson is tomorrow.

Idea for future video: check out 17:12 in your vid "Why you're catching the wrong waves." See how you pop up then bring the board around in a smooth turn, kind of pulling it forward? I can never seem to get that to happen. I'm not just talking about faded takeoffs. If you can explain how to accomplish that, you'll help a lot of surfers get into position faster. Thanks.

I think I know what you mean there!! I think its about quick and precise engagement of the rail and tail straight off the pop-up, then using your body and the fixed point that your board needs to act around - would be great to do something on that really appreciate the suggetsion!!! Yewww! 🙏🙏🤙

Hey ben i have an idea for your channel do you think you can bring world class longboarders in as guests? And make them talk about the manouvers they specialized in? Also noticed there is no real list of tricks where they are shown with the name which would be interesting:)
Thanks for your amazing channel and content🎉

Love that idea getting the pros and experts in certain manouvres and having them give the 2 cents on how they approach it and their advice/recommendations, given me something to think about its just about how to organise that!!!
Really appreciate both suggestions! yewww!!! 🙏🙏🤙

Hi Ben, great tips again. Hope you are enjoying the warm water up nth.
I have been wondering for a while how best to plan the approach to surfing waves. Through your great help I have most of the fundamentals and putting it all together to have the right moves in the right part of the wave is my next step.
Interested in how you may plan your approach to surfing a complete wave eg do you mind surf on the beach before going out or when on the wave do you plan your next move or think further ahead than that?
It is also tricky as each wave is different and you may not be enable you to do what you have planned and may need to adjust as the wave presents.

Hey Ben great video. I do have a question though. I’m 5’8 and i want to buy a 8’5 longboard any thoughts on why that would either be a good or bad idea. Or if i should go longer. Thank you love your work.

Hello. I wanna do noseriding. Never done it before but I can surf on 7.6 ft board quite well. Never try short board and dont want to. Im 180cm tall 77kg. I prefer to go to 9 ft. longboard but not sure about
width and thick. May you help me out with that please? I would really appreciate that!
