    You made it sound so simple!!! Perfect. TTMIK explained all of these in extremely confusing way. Seriously after looking at this I can't understand how they managed to make it all so confusing.

    Yes, this will be in a different episode. Actually, this will likely be in a different series - I plan on teaching a full, new Korean series through my web site in the future, which will be more of a beginner series walking people through Korean from the ground up. These videos so far are mostly requests I've gotten to fill the gaps left by many other online teaching sites.

    In this sentence, 저는 학교랑 남동생도 좋아해고 숙제도 좋아해요.
    Why does the 좋아해고 turn into 좋아하고 making it 저는 학교랑 남동생도 좋아하고 숙제도 좋아해요.

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  7 лет назад

      좋아해고 is incorrect. It should be 좋아하고.

      Learn Korean with GO! Billy Korean I understand that, I just don't understand why. ㅋㅋㅋ

    • @GoBillyKorean
      @GoBillyKorean  7 лет назад

      Ah I see :) Well the ~고 ending uses the regular verb stem, and not conjugated verbs. 좋아해(요) is a conjugated verb, and 좋아하(다) is the regular verb. So it should become 좋아하 + 고, since that's the regular verb stem. Different grammar forms use different types of verbs - some use conjugated verbs and others use regular verbs or verb stems (etc.) and each one works differently.

    ...the only thing you could add btw is that things like "-와/과" can also mean "with", not only "and", like "친구와 축구해요" - "I play football with my friend" :) but maybe that has to be covered in a different episode?

    Just a random thought (and you'll most likely not want to do it as it might confuse people) but I was wondering if you thought about writing somewhere the Literal translation of your examples? So word for word to help people understand the sentence structure?
