을 위한 = for

위한 is an attributive form of 위하다 (modifies a noun) so we 위한 + [Noun].

Yes, literally "to" but you can translate it as "for." The Korean meaning is not changing. 건강에 좋아요 "It is good to health." Or with 도움(이) 되다, "to be helpful to~."
