Lived in Korea for 5 years and never even learnt this much. I am still studying thanks to your lessons thank you !
8:00 I'm so glad you included this as an example sentence because I came to this video specifically to try and figure out which grammar form to use to say "when I was a kid" or "when I was young" and then it just turned out to be an example lol
I study by myself with books and watching many youtube video's with many teachers.. I really think that Billy is the best online teacher.
Your editing skill is on point xD I really love your humor. Always fun to watch!
crazy how I Watched this lesson only 2 months ago but it makes so much more sense now. I always felt like I haven't improved but I guess I have
빌리 선생생의 영상 볼 때 한국어 공부하는 것은 재밌어요 ☺️ (when I watch Billy’s videos, studying Korean is fun)
These classes are great! I've also purchased two of your books and they are extremely helpful. You have a wonderful teaching style. Thank you for your hard work!!!
Glad you like them!
you are really awesome Billy! I hope you will never stop teaching!
"If you really like BTS, then learn korean" well that's what i'm actually doing right now 🤣💞

"It would be wrong, but funny." This is me making horrible life decisions. (btw, I just started watching this channel today and it's so fun. I super loved the video.)
When you recognize I'm 맥치, I'll be happy!

"PRETTY EASY"
"EZ PZ"
yoy nice !
Billy, all of your lessons are much appreciated. Please can I ask that when you start rattling through examples that you don't go too fast - you tend get quite excited!! :o) Also, do you have a clip mic coz when you turn towards the board you become quieter / less clear. Many thanks, 영국에서 인사드립니다.
This is the "Abridged" version. The full unedited version is much slower and is still on my channel in the Live Streams playlist :)
Hi Billy! I don't know if you still check the comments for the older videos, but I wanted to know the most appropriate form when talking about habits.
Like 배달 시키면(시킬 때?), 기다리며 침대에 누워
It wouldn't matter if you're talking about a habit, or something else - the differences between the two forms are as the video explains. You can use either, depending on what you're talking about specifically. I also recommend checking out the full un-edited version of this live stream (if you have time) which goes slower and gives more examples of their differences.
I see, thanks a lot for the response! Will definitely check the full version later
저는 네 비디오를 볼 때마다 많이 것 배워서 너무 감사합니다!
I hope this is right, please correct me if I'm wrong
you wouldn’t say 많이 것 you’d say 많은 것을
bhuwacool - Thank you ☺️
(I’m Korean) 빌리 비디오 볼 때마다 많이 배워서 참 감사해요!
저도 빌리의 비디오를 볼 때마다 많이 배웁니다. ^-^good luck
I’m always tempted to say these are beyond my level but I’m actually learning stuff! Trying to make some of my own sentences (I’m only 3 and a half minutes in so far) - does “시간할 때 읽어 보세요.” make sense?
Edit: wait that could translate to “at the time when you have time” lolll nice
Edit 2: now I got to 4:50 and you’re not using 하다 with 시간 welp
Last edit lol: Okay, 시간이 있을때 읽어 보세요. Better??
You used 하다 ("to do") with 시간, when I think you meant to say "to have time" which would use 있다 ("to exist") - not 하다.
Learn Korean with GO! Billy Korean thanks!!
::star girl:: nice
Can 시간이 있으면 also be used to say 'if time permits', or is it not time that is doing the permitting in Korean?
Literally it only means "If time exists," so it's basically just "If you have time" or "If I have time." You can translate that however you'd like, but nothing will translate 1:1 :)
@@GoBillyKorean Thanks Billy!
these edits kwkdlskdksks nice
전화주세요? Shouldn't it be 전화해 주세요?
전화주세요 is like "Give me a call" while 전화해 주세요 is like "Please call (me)" but both have the same meaning in this context.
