Talk about clickbait I wasted my time watching half of this video and then I thought I was going to puke from boredom. I've only been sharpening my own drill bits on a bench grinder for about 45-50 years now. Actually it takes about 30 seconds to do it on a bench grinder if you make a mistake look at a big drill bit to get the angles in your head practice makes perfect

Learn on a 1/4" drill bit. Buy (2) 1/4" save one for a guide to look at. The 2nd drill bit grind the point off to the sholder and learn how to guage the angle and leading edge and once you learn on a 1/4" bit you will be able to do any size bit. Been doing it for 45 years. Only one I messed up on was after a 12 pack of drinking beer with my father.

Fail. Best to use a stationary sander/grinder (a bench grinder is best) and keep two hands on the bit. True the stone and start sharpening at the heel and pivot the bit to the center never letting it get hot, have cup of oil nearby. If you don't already have an eye for sharpening bits, let someone that does do it for you

Incredible waste of time. If you will notice, the line drawn exactly matches the factory bevel. So the guide is the drill bit itself. No need for all the drawing and cutting or wrapping it on the bit. Angel is already there. Just pay attention and follow the factory set angle. Period!

These are almost without fail an elaborate method to sharpen a drill bit poorly that ignores the bit face geometry. There is a method of sharpening a bit by hand using a grinding wheel that has been used by machinists for over 50 years. it takes practice and some skill. Spend a few hundred dollars on a machine and do it right otherwise. Never seen one of these videos that wasn't a waste of time.

    Ângulos do triângulo totalmente ERRADOS.
A soma dos ângulos de qualquer triângulo é 180°, como pode um ângulo ser de 59° o outro de 6° que somam 65°, dai o outro ângulo deveria ser 115°, hein!!!!
