I also get so excited about receiving cards I have wanted for so long. The 67 Aaron has a special story for me. When I was a kid I saw one at a flea market my parents were set up at and I didn't buy it. That night I thought about and I felt bad not getting it. The next day I asked my dad if he could find the dealer and see if he would take $20 for it. He had it for $25. My dad searched over 300 booths to find that card and negotiate with a dealer to bring that card home for me. My dad passed in 1999 and that is one of many memories I have of his love for me and the hobby we shared together. Thanks for sharing your love of cards with the RUclips community. God bless you and your family.
Kevin, thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. I am thankful to hear your story 🙏 and the memories associated with the 67 Aaron and the intentional dedication of your dad to find that card for you. Again, thanks for the comment 👍 😀 🙏
Thanks for showing us your Reveal from PSA/SGC, as well as your recent pickups! The books you showed are all great! Your Reveal could not have turned out any better! Thanks for sharing!
Wow is right , you did well Pastor Craig. Congratulations on your 96 Topps PSA 10. " Glory of their times " is such a great book , I am currently doing a video series on this great book.
Hi Pastor Craig! I just love your video and the enthusiasm you have for the cards. I am a super collector of Hank, Aaron, Eddie Matthews, and Warren Spahn. So I can definitely share your enthusiasm, especially for the 1967 Hank Aaron, which is beautiful. Take care and really look forward to your next video, God bless you, Kevin
Thanks Kevin. I appreciate the comment and that you watched my video I'm glad to hear you are a big Braves colletor of the BIG 3 - Aaron Mathews and Spahn. Check out some of my earlier videos on my Mathews run & checkout fellow RUclipsr Matt @ THA Card Story @thacardstory5800 He's got a great 👍 Aaron and Spahn collection + Matt is a genuinely great person.
Thanks Mike, was really surprised to get that grade ... days like that don't happen to often! Hoping to sell the 10 and help fund a Kaline RC Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Hi Craig. Awesome reveal of some great cards. That Kobe Gem Mint 10 is the cherry on the top. Congrats for those for grades. I also love the books, great reads. So happy for you. Thanks for sharing my friend. Talk soon pal.
Football cards were my entry into collecting. The 62 set is such a great set & tough to find with good eye appeal. I'm glad you picked up those two cards. Keep me posted on the 18 more to go. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. It is very much appreciated.
Wow 👌 You did very well Pastor Craig , I am so happy for you. You will love reading " Glory of their times ". I am currently doing a video series on this great book now.
Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. I've been watching the videos. Trying to educate myself on this era before I jump in the deep end and spend 💰
Great mail day! Congrats on the two Kobe’s, the 56s (love that set), the 67s and chasing that Kaline rookie. I was able to secure a Kaline rookie in a PSA 3 earlier this year. Love that card 😊
I love the story of the cards you submitted. It’s funny because my grandmother bought me the same Pujols rookie in St. Louis after my dad retired from the Navy in 2002. Fast forward and I have served in the Coast guard since 2005 with my Pujols rookie moving with me 6 times by the time I graded it in 2020 came back an 8.5. Not “super” valuable, but I’ll never upgrade it because of who bought it for me and it traveling with me the last 18.5 years.
Awesome story, Jon. Thanks for your service! Cards can hold special non-monetary value that are irreplaceable and I am glad you have that Pujols. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
Craig, I am honored to have seen a sneak-peak at your glorious high-grade Kobe rookies that, over the years, have been travelling around the country in U-Hauls, penny sleeves, and surviving kids along the way! 🤯🤯🤯 If you can turn that Gemmy 10 into a Kaline rookie and still keep the 9 for yourself, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! 😮😮😮 Awesomeness, my collecting brother!
Thanks so much, Adam. Hopefully, that will happen a 💎 gemmy 10 K.B. RC for a glorious ✨️ looking A.K. RC. Patience is the key. Thanks 👍 for watching Adam.
Loved the video. That Kobe is a beauty for sure!! I hope to get some new blind reveal videos up soon. Keep the videos coming and you gained a new subscriber.
congrats on the kobe10! i also like the 67 aaron, I have one in my playing days run which is an SGC 3.5. someday I may send in some of my other Hank Aaron‘s to get them encapsulated/graded, Will probably do SGC. looking forward to your next video.
Thanks so much for watching and leaving a comment. Yes, I would try to get your Aaron's graded - I feel better handling them & don't get worried when my grandkids look at them. I always worry about my raw cards.
The Hank and Brooks cards look great Craig. So cool you got a 10 on one of the Kobe's that can now fund the bulk of a Kaline purchase. I've never had any card grade a 10 before.
Nice returns Pastor Craig. 58 Topps football is a wonderful set. Similar design to 59 Topps baseball. Sonny Jurgensen is under appreciated in the hobby. He was statistically the best quarterback of the 60s. I would place overall in the 60s behind Unitas and Starr. Namath was better too but only played half the decade. Pretty good company.
I agree - SJ was a "pure passer" and didn't have a great supporting cast like JU and BS had. Really like this set & look forward to building the set in VG+ condition
Tremendous reveal and grades, naturally I'm partial to the Brooks Robinson '67. I'm one of those people who talks about Glory of Their Times a lot. haha.
Gave a video like. Congratulations on the return! It is always exciting when things turn out well. Great looking cards. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Brian, appreciate the comment 👍

Hi Craig. Man, I love the '67 Brooks Robinson and Hank Aaron cards! Congratulations on those!
How can I mail you a couple goodies?
cbcamp2@gmail.com
Thanks, Eric, for watching and leaving a comment. I am really happy with both cards & the grades.
Just seeing your thumbnail, it looked like you are trying to be like Matt, hording all of your mail unopened.
@@3D80sKid I thought of Matt when I took the picture.... figured he'd be proud of me .
@@CraigsCards62 I envision him seeing that small of a pile and thinking, “amateur.” 😂
No need to send to SGC when you know the grade. Time for a new grading company … PCG. Pastor Craig Grading.
I was really surprised I was accurate! Happy with the results.
