I plan on putting this cam in my 5.3 suburban with BTR valve springs and seals, pushrods and trunnion upgrade. I will be running the stock converter, hope it all goes good
@@jamesbroderick5157 it’s amazing. Drives like stock but has way more power. Went from 240 hp 254 torque stock, to 302 hp 322 torque after mods, on a mustang dyno. Which is around 10% lower than the reading you’d get on a dynojet. So it scoots pretty good now.

Im using the factory rack that came in the truck with the v6. All i did was connect in and out to the v8 power steering pump and just need to mount the reservoir.

I had a gen 3 motor that I converted to gen 4 so no I didn’t have to do dod delete. Depending on your truck your probably going to have to if it’s a truck same body style as mine

I want to order the cam already but I seen another youtuber comment it was a little difficult too little air it wouldn’t stay idleing and too much and it would buckle on drive with foot on brake. I dont know if any of my local tuners would be able to get it perfect.

@@dammitcarl1082 now that I’m thinking about it, I plan on doing it once so I’m just gonna put a circle D 3200-3400 stall converter in it

Thanks and no I did springs as well. For the intake I rewired a bunch of stuff on my harness so I just rewired that aswell
If you have a 03-07 yes you will need the x-link. The 07-13 truck don’t need the xlink because they already came with the “tbss” throttle body
