Thanks, Ken! I need to make some money with the lumber I have salvaged, and I hate to waste any. Very much appreciated! I'm getting old enough to have trouble thinking, your little push got the wheels going!
Thank you for sharing your awesome band saw dogs project. They did come out very nicely. I really liked the glued up model. The finish looked great. Will be waiting on the Harvey band saw review. Everyone stay safe, happy and healthy. From Henrico County Virginia
You are very welcome. I love the pattern. Wish you had a poodle pattern as I have poodles:) One more question. If I use your pattern to make physical wooden dogs, can I sell them?
My husband has a 12 inch sears bandsaw, he uses it for just about all his woodworking projects. He likes to make magnets in the shape of WV they are only 1 and a half inch tall by 1 and a half inch wide. He stack cuts them 5 at a time, and in the last 7 years he has cut 3180 of them, he keeps a total every time he cuts them. He just gives these away, that’s just the way he is, he says if the people he gives these to enjoy them then this makes him happy
Neat! I wouldn't even have known about these types of projects before reading about them in Woody Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible, If I’m not istaken he’s still looking for proof readers.
Good video. I would advise caution in backing the bandsaw blade out of a cut, especially the long and deep cuts that this project requires. There is too much of a risk of pulling the blade right off of the wheels. It would be best to turn off the machine and let the blade come to a rest before removing the piece from the blade.
The dogs turned out great! Thank you for making bandsaw dogs. I love the concept of bandsaw animals, but when I searched for videos, everyone mostly does reindeer. Nice to see a dog video since I'm a dog person. On a side note, I noticed smarmy comments on here. I am new to the channel snd honestly, as a new female woodworker, would like to see female creators taken seriously. So please don't include cleavage shots? I want to see the woodworking project up close, and I think so would other woodworkers. If they want cleavage, it shouldn't be on a woodworking channel. Please dont let yourself be objectified, your projects stand for themselves, you don't need to show the cleavage, unless I guess thats the audience you're shooting for? I'm just saying, I'm new to the channel but will likely unsubscribe if your videos are all like this. I mean this respectfully, as a woman who's been in traditionally male jobs and did so without baiting with cleavage. Are those sexist commenters really the viewers you want? I hope not. Thank you.
I'm sorry but I can't be the only one who thinks that bra looks uncomfortable.. Why do women who make good content think they have to use their sexuality for views, it cheapens what you do.
What a beautiful carving !thanks for allowing us to look in !
Beautiful smile and beautiful project.
I don't have a bandsaw yet, however, when I get one I'll be making these dogs.
Excellent video very informative
Beautiful 😊
Thanks a lot 😊
Those are nice cute little doggies!
I addicted to that one. It's a very fancy 👌👌
Very good video. Where do you fine the patterns?
Those turned out awesome Skyler! 👍🏻 Now I know what to do with all those scrap pieces I have! Thank you very much for sharing this!
You are so welcome. Glad to help :)
Thank you for the great ideas!
4:00 love the technique
I made plastic templates when I made reindeer many years ago. Just trace outline on the wood.

They’re amazing ❤.
yes they are! those puppies look surprisingly firm ...for wood. gnome sayin?
@@ImanAholea man of culture, I see 🧐
Thanks for the video, they do look great.
Glad you like them!
What a cool project, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Wow,to jsou velmi roztomilá zvířátka, která jsou vyrobena ze zbytkového materiálu. Velmi excelentní práce ok.👏❤️
Looks good, but I have a question. The ears look like there is an angled cut on them. Was that done by hand, or did you hold the dogs at an angle?

Hi Norm. Good to see you again. Thank you
Hey thanks for the plug for my plans. You should try some of my other ones too.
You are very welcome. I love the pattern. Wish you had a poodle pattern as I have poodles:)
One more question. If I use your pattern to make physical wooden dogs, can I sell them?
@woodworkingwithSkyler the little table you showed is adorable! Do you have any videos of it please?
Unfortunately I built that a few weeks before started RUclips channel, so I didn’t filmed it
@@woodworkingwithSkyler thanks for responding! Perhaps you can make a matching one...please pretty please?

Nice puppies!
Gluing the template and taping back together were things I learned. Very crafty. Looks very easy.
That’s because it is simple

Awesome. I think you will be pleasantly surprised on how easy they are to make
Hi, Love your channel, the animals are a good way to use up scraps in the shop and the ideas would be endless, thanks again.
Thank you John
Thanks for sharing amazing work.
My pleasure!
Thank you.
You're welcome!
Good video. Thank You!
Thank YOU
Sometimes to apply a finish to small parts, I use the cosmetic wedges from CVS, they seem to work well.
What a great idea! I will try that
Wow soo beautiful..
yep, good one
Thank you
How do you get the template from the description because I couldn't find it online.
Very nicely done!
Thank you, Mike
do you have a video on the table you showed at the beginning of the video
Very cute! I wonder what price you should ask for those. Another question is : What bandsaw blade do you use for those figures?
3/16 for the blade
What a nice pair!
Oh yeah, those are some nice puppies!
The puppies are nice too
Both sets.
how do the ears get shaped like that?
You have to make two extra small cuts by placing dog on his head and cut ears

There's a bandsaw chicken that looks pretty cool
NICE rack! Curious how the rest looks....

of an inappropriate comment?
I'd gladly kiss that finger until it heals. In the meantime, be careful.
:) Thank you. I ran my edge of the sander into my finger. All good now
@@woodworkingwithSkyler So good to know. Best regards.
very nice video...but please leave your bra in the drawer and watch your numbers soar !! $$$$$$$$$
She could just start an OnlyFans and make far more than that, but I think she's trying to be taken seriously, or she would have done that already.
I agree with you. Skyler has a great channel and she has very impressive assets, she could hit a million subscribers.
