- The SQ8 is completes Audi's SUV lineup. Sitting on the same chassis as the mighty Lamborghini Urus, the SQ8 has a sporty style with unique wheels, FULL LED lighting, and black accents. On the inside you will be greeted by Audi's full leather interior and virtual cockpit. Under the hood is a 4.0L twin turbo pumping out 500HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. I used to own an RS5, and I drive Audi. I have my eyes set on an RSQ8 and this review was very great! I test drove a Q8. Love how big, fast, and cozy it was.

This would be the Audi SUV I prefer. The styling is excellent. I recall driving a 2020 Q8 as a loaner. Heads turned and the power was amazing!

Great walk through and test drive. I just purchased one. Pick it up Wednesday. I have a few more bells even. This helped me big time. Can not wait to get this. I was debating a Cayenne and this and chose this one. I have a Porsche GTS also and absolutely love it but the SQ8 took the win for this. Now to upgrade our Range Rover next.

Owning something like this, I would probably have to give-up my empanada and subway sandwiches or Arby sandwiches, hire a chef and trade everything in for snooty rich food.

Last week I test drove the Cayenne and the Q8 about 30 mins apart. I wanted the Q8 because I loved the exterior. I drove it and it was nice, but it didn't wow me with the interior or handling. For 100K, I should get in an say wow. The Porsche dealer was nextdoor so I tried a Cayenne. What a difference. As soon as I sat in the car, I was very impressed. IMO, much better interior, feel and handling. I wish I could swap the interiors. I am still on the fence, but probably going with the Cayenne S.
Q8 and cayene S… you should try full sq8 and then compare. Does she had full air suspension? Active swaybars? Rear wheel steering? No? Than it was box on four wheels, a stock numb audi q8 for 85k brand new. For the interior hands down Porche are more superior, but not miles away.

Curious what you decided on. Loving most of the things regarding Cayenne S but wondering if at $115k if 0-60 at 4.7s is worth it. That's what the SQ8 delivers on.

Good suv but no ventilated seats and cargo nets at 110,000$. That’s a head scratcher for sure. But amazing v8 sound from Audi.

I own a Q8 and while I think it’s one of if not the best looking SUV/SUV coupes let alone cars on the market, I detest the transmission and floatiness. The SQ8 drives completely different. No transmission lag between shift, sounds more aggressive, responsive yet comfortable handling with less sway (one I drove did have the sport package w roll stabilization and sport rear differential, so not sure how much of the ride improvement is due to that vs the standard air suspension)

@@RaitisRides Agreed, but do you want to fork over the extra 30k for the RSQ8 to gain marginal performance numbers? That's the question. I have the SQ7 that is very similar but has the third row seats if needed. These are bad ass cars.

It's a Lamborghini Urus. It's also an RSQ8, a Porsche Cayenne, a lowered RS6, a Bentley Bentayga and an SQ7. I would never buy a VW parts bin car.

Each iteration is quite different and distinct in their own way. These are hardly “parts bin cars” despite some similar pieces in the basic chassis.

SQ8 = YES PLEASE. door panel = good. exterior styling = good, UGH WHY AUDI DO YOU LOVE GLOSS BLACK SO MUCH ? it would be so much better if it were natural wood or aluminum. I do however dig the control panels. every red light, I'd be rubbing the piano gloss black surfaces hahaha. no PDK - is that a deal breaker? dead pedal = excellent. BnO sound system = superior, them Germans love fishnets lol. good leg room in the rear seating zone. deep cargo space w/ a real spare? pretty nice. yeah AUDI is the pro at fit & finish - they build tight autos. behind the wheel looks great.
