Audi's are praised about their interior quality but no mention on the creaks and rattles in the cabin after a few thousand miles. It's a well known issue reported by many owners.

I have a 2016 Audi TTS MK3 since new and I haven't had any of those problems. I think you're talking about BMW with those cheap plastic interiors that look like they're from 2005.

My ‘19 Q8 had some rattles on the drivers B pillar and the drivers upper door trim. My ‘22 SQ8 has no rattles at 30k, but there is some creaking at first when sitting in summer temps-seems like natural plastic expansion and contraction as AC comes on to cool the cabin. Goes away after about 10 mins.

It is a nice experience to have had. Im over it now looking for the next thing. Another problem I'm having is with the alarm now it goes off for no reason. But if you have a good warranty it is a nice suv. Very comfortable and spacious. They deprecate very fast. my sq8 was 72,000 and had it for 1 year and 4 months and now worth 44,000 as a trade in to dealer.

Great review. I’m pondering about picking up the 2025 Q8 but really afraid of the reliability. I own a 2015 Lexus RX for nearly a decade with NO issues. But of course the RX is a lot more boring than the Q8.

I was the luckiest as the one I bought did not yet. I felt timing chain would probably go. This thing was very expensive to maintain. We all went through brakes fast. the tires are vey sticky so they wear very fast and also pick up nails. i got 3000 miles because of nails on the first set. second set lasted 5000 miles just due to ware then third set was a wash because of nails 4th set lasted 7000miles and that is because been driving it very gently. Its very heavy and the stuff they do so it does not have as much body roll might effect the tires more.Tires are also very expensive. I have been paying 700 upwards for each tire.

We ran two sq8 and a rsq8 at same time between three friends and seeing similar results but maybe u live somewhere with alot more straight roads. big difference is I don't make any money from you tube I do it for fun and to help people plus I buy these with my own money. At first I love most of the cars but after having them for a while then you start to dislike some features. The sq8 is nice and I have had it for a long time but I don't love it and am looking for the next thing. To many little things that bug me now about it plus how much the value is dropping. Almost 30000 in two year its nuts.
