WOW! What a journey! As I promised , I will watch all of your vids, so started the Falcon two days ago. I watched every step of your build in a giant marathon, and I´m absolut impressed how it came out. And believe me, it's not stupid if you get emotional after this odyssey.
Im going to cry too at the end because this building make me pass thru a lot of things in my life, only a true star wars fan collector will understand, again thanks for your videos, patience and dedication... Gracias desde Mexico amigo
Hey Wayne! I can't believe I watched this video 2 years ago while I was starting the same collection, and now 2 years after I am also completing the Millenium Falcon myself!!! I kee watching all your videos, I hope you had a very nice honeymoon! Cheers from Mexico!
When I saw this video posted, it was like Christmas morning all over again! Thank you so much for inviting us all along for the ride, it's been one hell of an adventure! I will continue to cheer you on as I follow your R2D2 and Delorean builds. Keep up the great work and "Damn the sprues!"
Absolutely emotional ending, Wayne. I did start building this but experienced delivery problems so gave up. Well done for completing it. It looks pretty awesome.
it was a pleasure joining you while you finished off the falcon. it looks awesome on your wall , well done !!! I also have been through a lot too whilst building mine , didn't think I would get to finish it , but here I am 5 issues from the end looking forward to getting mine completed ! glad to see yours on the wall and finished , nice job Wayne !!!! lol no sprues for a while :)
Hi Wayne Wondered if you could help Purchased a pre built kit to paint up and display. But for the life of me I can’t find where the batteries go on this build or where the power supply fits in. Can you advise please
if this thing mounts on a TV rack I'd put it on one of those arms that can move up and down as well as left to right so I could play about with it a little.
I really wish that Fanhome can ship their products here in the Philippines. I'd get the premium subscription if I have to just to collect all their models and bundles.
Iv still not opened mine yet but iv got 2 number 52 issues as there was misprint on one so iv got 101 issues not opened yet. Waiting to figured out what to do with them
I've just started the re-run of this model and I was wondering which glue you would recommend? I was hoping there's a good ABS cement you could suggest to weld the joints together as opposed to a superglue, which I know can get a little brittle over time. Many thanks.
Hi Wayne. Great vids. I’ve been watching your more recent R2D2 as I have ordered. They seem to have stopped doing the falcon and x wing. Do you know if any other companies that do it.
Hey Wayne - I'm thinking about doing the Fanhome build when it starts shipping in August. I noticed that everyone is painting this in other videos, but they aren't very specific. Is it just the weathering that needs to be done or are there other parts that need painting?
love this build and as a super fan im horribly disgusted that this model never made it to South Africa, we;re stuck with the DeAgostini Mustang and Back to the future Delorean! sad, sad, sad
Wayne... instead of using blutak to hold the landing light switch in you can do one of two things... either strip the wires back & solder them together... or take the switch wires out of the pcb & use a pc jumper to bridge the two pins on the pcb... whichever takes your fancy really...
Wayne... if you're thinking of possibly putting it on a coffee table eventually... then I'd probably say go with the jumper... because it'll be easier to swap that & the plug around than trying to rejoin the wires... all that need to be done is the two pins on the pcb need to be joined to make the lights work...
Congrats on the finish! I'm waiting to get all the parts before I build currently(I may do cockpit and interior) and am only up to sixteen. Ugh. Enjoy your channel and like the BttF and R2 builds so far(curse you I may spend more now). If you decide you're not going to use the landing gear and want to make a deal let me know. I'm thinking about making retractable ones so a second set would be handy for experimenting.
I knew there was going to be a problem when I saw all three issues in under an hour. Ha Ha. Two things of note; Part 22, did you over cut it? It doesn't look like yours actually bridges the gap between 21 and 23. Part 46. Did not see you put it on at all. Its a single round piece left all alone on a big sprue. So sad. Overall nice job though. Look forward to getting mine finished around May.
Terry Schwandt you certainly have an eagle eye. Yep, had to bodge that one but the other piece I had already put on a while ago 👍 still can't believe how big it is. Thank you for all your help in the past sir. It is greatly appreciated 👍
Aye. I wish it could have been a live build but to be honest, with the nightmare I was having it would have looked like something out of Fawlty Towers lol. :D
I'm undecided at the moment as I am going to be using some clever lighting on the back wall which is going to give shadows etc. Once that is installed if it still looks plain I will get someone onto it :D
Well....kind of. There are still the missing parts DeAgostini agreed to send out. No word on when they'll be sent out. But it's simply not done until it's done.
Its way bigger in this man cave then I expected it to be lol. I keep looking at but only cos I'm worried the dry wall won't hold it lol. I can just imagine doing a live build and damn thing falling off the wall :D
no worries Wayne, we all have these crumby days at times. We enjoy the videos we get

Thank you sir. I really don't think we have seen the last of the dreaded sprue lol
Absolutely emotional ending, Wayne. I did start building this but experienced delivery problems so gave up. Well done for completing it. It looks pretty awesome.
This has just been announced by Fanhome and I've signed up. So pleased as I missed out first time
I like your little tear in the eye at the end ! I love your channel, keep it up Wayne ! :)

redcookster71 if I see another sprue it will be a billion years too soon
I can see it was a really emotional for you, looking at your work for the last 2 years. I´m just staring mine, up to issue 8.
I've just seen on the Fanhome website that there is a Fanhome Falcon coming out which should be good
Hi Wayne
Wondered if you could help
Purchased a pre built kit to paint up and display.
But for the life of me I can’t find where the batteries go on this build or where the power supply fits in. Can you advise please
Lift up the top cover and the battery box is between the mandibles. You will need unscrew 4 screws
if this thing mounts on a TV rack I'd put it on one of those arms that can move up and down as well as left to right so I could play about with it a little.
Congratulations! I finish mine next month hopefully. I've enjoyed the videos. Take care.
I really wish that Fanhome can ship their products here in the Philippines. I'd get the premium subscription if I have to just to collect all their models and bundles.
Great finish of the project, well done it looks fantastic
Iv still not opened mine yet but iv got 2 number 52 issues as there was misprint on one so iv got 101 issues not opened yet. Waiting to figured out what to do with them

A good CA glue. Cement won't cut it
@WorldofWayneUK Thank you sir. Think I'm going to go with Zap-A-Gap. I hear good things about it.
Hi Wayne. Great vids. I’ve been watching your more recent R2D2 as I have ordered. They seem to have stopped doing the falcon and x wing. Do you know if any other companies that do it.
No. These may come back one day but as for now I havent heard anything
Fanhome is taking pre orders for the Falcon for late August 2023 release.
Awesome build Wayne that sucker is huge I am very happy to have subscribed.

It will need a full paint as the plastic is more yellow
Enjoyed your vids!!! Next up, the Deogostini full size Death Star, 100 year build!! Get busy!
Could you just imagine lol
love this build and as a super fan im horribly disgusted that this model never made it to South Africa, we;re stuck with the DeAgostini Mustang and Back to the future Delorean! sad, sad, sad

The Sarge I'm thinking of stripping the wires but cutting enough to keep the switch just in case it ends up on a coffee table on day 👍

Amazing! So, is the loading ramp underneath motorized?
Yep
What's the glue you used for sticking all the parts please?
Congrats on the finish!

loved it thank u wayne from chris amazing videos live chat
Well done ... are you planning any more painting ??
Not at the moment but that a job for another day :D
Should give it some weathering, it would look more realistic, not so boring, reminds me of the MPC model kit!
I really want to but not sure when I will have the time. Hey, if I wait long enough it will weather itself :D
I knew there was going to be a problem when I saw all three issues in under an hour. Ha Ha. Two things of note; Part 22, did you over cut it? well done sir, nice job
What was the final cost on that?
100 stages so roughly £1200
Is that the wall mount that comes with the subscription?
Yep :D
i keep my parts in exact same tin )))
wayne from chris we all get issue 100a in the post last adds on amazing
Why you didn't paint the model?
I have lined it up to be done by a professional model painter but he has a backlog at the moment so I am waiting patiently
Ah ok!
spectacular!
it was great watching your videos for the last 2 years on the falcon but we still have R2D2 and the Delorean to go
Aye. I wish it could have been a live build but to be honest, with the nightmare I was having it would have looked like something out of Fawlty Towers lol. :D
My remote doesn't seem to be working.
David Westbury oh no, that's not good. Get on to Deagostini. They should send out a replacement
i dont buld any of this stuff but i wish i had it would have looked so good in my room ( my room only has a bed and a tv no poster or anything 😐😐)
This thing is way bigger then I expected it to be lol
in my opionion the color is less realistic then the kernel (90's)one
nice one :) Looks great!

Are you going to paint it ?
I'm undecided at the moment as I am going to be using some clever lighting on the back wall which is going to give shadows etc. Once that is installed if it still looks plain I will get someone onto it :D
